I've just heard two girls in Starbucks in Grimsby singing the "is it... stupid or is it... slow?" part of Manchild, so it's official. Manchild is TAKING OVER the coffee community, so I think it's on

  • I've been much less successful at chart predictions in 2025 (so far) than last year but this is a bit freaky! today's Spotify chart: 193. The Stranglers - Golden Brown !!! I assume this has to be

Sabrina in the past has continued to gain momentum over the course of her first week hasn't she? I'm sure it will take off more on TikTok in the next few days and the numbers will hopefully get back up further but that's a good hold for a Sunday. Hopefully Ordinary's reign of terror is over and it can grow enough to overcome it after week one too.

It's a decent track - not as good as some of her singles last year, but I'd far rather have it at the top than Ordinary. And good on her for bucking the recent trends if she can get a No.1 debut, it seems this feat will be reserved for only the biggest name comebacks now.

Most new tracks rebound a little on Monday and the fact she held on the worst days for new music is promising

I think the video will help a lot too, both short and long-term

I don't rate Sabrina or the song, but rather Maneater than the bad Alex Warren song

the video is kinda insane cos there's like tons of 3-second scenes, there's like 50 different set-ups and outfits,

must have taken ages to make and sure will generate buzz

The video is a cinematic masterpiece but the song they put together in an hour

"Nope Your Too Late" back to its peak, wonder if this will become a proper hit. Jungkook- Seven also back in at 102 on Spotify. Of all songs to bot why this one?

Where is Manchild on Amazon Music UK ?

I only see Ordinary at #01.

Come on Sabrina. Snatch that one week at the top so you can disrupt him from beating Bryan’s record

Wow great climb for Olivia Dean, top ten on OCC by Friday?

if Manchild succeeds, the Bryan record for consecutive weeks would be safe

but Ordinary could still break the record for non-consecutive weeks (hopefully not)

Think that's a tall order but top 20 doesn't feel out of reach for this Friday.

Na as long as wham exists thats only gonna get more weeks every Christmas

That’s why for me the worst case scenario would be Sabrina getting a one week wonder due to lowish sales and Ordinary falling then the latter rising again next week and him not breaking the record. As long as Manchild can grow a bit next week!

Who's got the record for non-consecutive weeks at #1? I know it's not Bryan...

EDIT: The record for most non-consecutive weeks at number one is 18 by Frankie Laine's "I Believe" in 1953

Most Days at #1 on UK Spotify

#1 Wham! - Last Christmas - 108 Days

#2 Drake feat. Wizkid & Kyla - One Dance - 101 Days

#3 Dave & Central Cee - Sprinter - 87 Days

#3 Alex Warren - Ordinary - 87 Days

#5 Tones and I - Dance Monkey - 81 Days

#6 Noah Kahan - Stick Season - 78 Days

#7 Post Malone feat. 21 Savage - rockstar - 77 Days

#8 Mariah Carey - All I Want for Christmas is You - 76 Days

#9 Drake - God's Plan - 75 Days

#10 Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa - One Kiss - 73 Days

Honourary Top 10 excluding Christmas Songs:

#11 The Weeknd - Blinding Lights - 70 Days

#12 DaBaby feat. Roddy Ricch - ROCKSTAR - 67 Days

Ordinary should move to #3 outright (#2 excluding Christmas songs) tomorrow barring a surprise jump from Sabrina

Dior coming to be a bit hit!

Its good to see a few songs looking likely to impact. It feels like songs are struggling to even get going these days. But Olivia Dean, MK, New Ed, Sabrina and a few others look set to be reasonable size hits. Hopefully a bit of a shift in the chart... Although probably would need a rocket (or a mass load of Christmas Songs) to shift some of them.

Oh just realised HH added Manchild yesterday straight as track #1

(sorry if already posted)

She should see a big increase today
