Robbie Williams' eventful passage through Lima

After the chaos at the exit of their first concert in Lima and the cancellation of the second show, they announced the rescheduling still without a definite date.

Perhaps only for those who lived in San Miguel, Magdalena or were heading to Avenida Brasil, the long journey was not so different from other events. However, apparently, there was not enough security to prevent hundreds of other people from crossing the meshes and climbing the cliff of the Costa Verde towards the boardwalk. Others waited for the ATU buses.

On Thursday afternoon, photographs by a team from La República showed the Belén bridge in poor condition, which is presumed to have been the reason for its closure. However, in the statement from the Municipality of San Miguel they do not explain the reason for the closure of that access or talk about the state of the bridge, but they blame the organization for the "deficiencies in the evacuation routes."

Another of the biggest errors was the late statement from the organizing company. One Entertainment announced the rescheduling just after 8 p.m. According to what was said by the team that was in the afternoon at Arena 1, they were doing everything possible for the concert to take place, but the municipality informed the press that the notified observations had not been regulated.

"As is public knowledge, Robbie Williams' concert, scheduled for Thursday, September 24, could not take place as a result of the closure of the venue ordered by the Municipality of San Miguel. We appreciate the willingness of the artist and his team, with whom we have been coordinating the rescheduling of the concert in a new venue that guarantees its realization."

The concert

Robbie Williams sang for the first time in Peru on Wednesday night. It was an added date to his tour because the first one had sold out. For an hour and a half he confirmed that he is still a great singer and a showman.
