Nice to see lots of youngsters at the barrier there. We noticed how many men there were in the audience last Saturday - way more than 20 years ago

I am positive surprised how full the stadiums have been until now. Even Paris is sold out and France has never been his core audience

Robbie Williams, from the mischievous nod to his past in Argentina to a powerful show and a heartfelt promise

Robbie Williams last night at the Movistar Arena was consecrated as the king of entertainmentcourtesy of Popart

After thirty years of solo career (and many more from his time in the boy band Take That), Robbie Williams seems to have found a precise definition of what he himself means by show. As he himself explained at the outset, his current tour is "a love letter to entertainment", something that moves with one foot in a rock concert and the other in Las Vegas. Accompanied by a very tight band led by his eternal collaborator Gary Nutall and with the addition of backup singers, winds and a dance troupe, Williams displayed all his facets at the Movistar Arena: that of a singer, that of a comedian, that of a man redeemed thanks to the love of his family and that of someone who seems to know a lot about second chances.

For Robbie Williams, entertaining is necessary, as "Let Me Entertain You" makes clear, his triumphant entrance turned into a declaration of principles from the start, straight from his debut album. As soon as the song was finished, he took center stage for a series of comedy steps related to his return to the country after 20 years first ("It's my fault, I went to rehab 15 times") and with a nod to his history with Amalia Granata: "I just saw someone I slept with the last time I was here, but he is not who they think," he said with a knowing look at the audience and then said that it was Diego, a follower located in the front row. Back in the action, Williams and his band gritted their teeth tightly in "Rocket", a rabid rock, which once it was over put the singer to display a well-deserved false modesty. "Are my best days over?" he asked the audience with the certainty that he was living a fortunate present.

When it comes to "Rock DJ", Williams played at being a decadent entertainer, with a fur coat on his shoulders whom his dancers had to carry on their platforms, an image that was quickly erased to the next track, "Karma Killer", something close to a difficult figure in his repertoire, a nod to the hard core of his followers. For the wider audience, complacency came with the next track, "Strong," a ballad about recognizing weaknesses and not being indestructible. Then, after the brand new "Pretty Face", he asked the audience to help him ask his manager, Rick, so that his next return to the country is in two years or less.

At the time of "Supreme", Williams received the first offering from an audience that seems to know him all too well. The song has a video clip that pays tribute to the British Formula 1 racer Jackie Stewart, so his followers sent him a flag where he was seen with the motorist and with Juan Manuel Fangio. And if until then his interventions between songs had had a stand-up spirit, in the prelude to "Love My Life" he would get slightly solemn to highlight the importance that his wife and having been a father had in his life, a feeling that "Better Man" (with images of his homonymous biopic in the background, where Williams is characterized as a chimpanzee) and its well-intentioned lyrics seemed to fit just right.

Accompanied by Thom Rylance, of the opening act The Lottery Winners, Williams began to review fragments of some songs from his repertoire (from "Tripping" to "Sexed Up", passing through "Rudebox" and a feint with "Angels") until he set out to make a historical reparation. According to him, in his Take That days, Gary Barlow stole the moments of prominence, so he tried to remove that thorn by performing "Relight My Fire", a song originally sung by his former partner in the boy band. Later, he would allude to that part of his past in "No Regrets", the song he wrote to say goodbye to the band with a bittersweet taste and an extra dose of drama.

Just as entertainment is the rule, "Advertising Space" is Williams' look at the fall from grace of pop culture's biggest stars, with Elvis Presley's final days as a reminder that a tragic end can overshadow even the most remarkable career of all. Far from that reflective tone, "Millennium" had a cinematic aura present in the James Bond soundtrack of its string arrangement, and also in the costumes full of golden accessories of its corps de ballet.

And if the good entertainer's manual obliges the singer to introduce his band, Williams did it in his own way, giving each musician the chance to take the spotlight for a few seconds with a selection of covers in pocket format, where Black Sabbath ("Paranoid"), The White Stripes ("Seven Nation Army"), Queen ("We Will Rock You"), Kelly Clarkson ("Since U Been Gone"), Depeche Mode ("Just Can't Get Enough") and The Beatles ("Hey Jude"). As a punchline, a fan proposed to his girlfriend before the next song, "Come Undone".

Although "Kids" and its funk pulse seemed to take the end of the show directly to the dance floor, the weather was short-lived. First, Williams walked the fence to choose Mili, a fan to whom he dedicated "She's the One," his cover of World Party. Sitting in a chair on the catwalk, the musician sang the entire song with his eyes fixed on his fan's eyes, as if the other fifteen thousand people present in the room were simply not there. Shortly after, Williams told another anecdote from his private life, when he heard his hero sing a song that made him say "I want to do that." The song was "My Way" and the hero, his father, who has suffered from Parkinson's for six years, a disease that since then has only let him leave his house three times, all of them to see his son live. Williams performed the song popularized by Frank Sinatra in a clear autobiographical moment, where the verses translated by Paul Anka seemed to be tailor-made for his own story.

After a few minutes, Williams and his band returned to the stage with "Feel", their 2002 hit. Already in a clear sign of retirement, the singer took a few minutes to remember his previous stint in Buenos Aires, with two shows at River in 2006. According to his account, that visit coincided with a dark moment in his life, but even so that first contact with the Buenos Aires public helped him to begin to reverse the situation: "I was too sick to be grateful, but I will never forget what they made me feel when I needed it most," he acknowledged to his followers before facing the farewell with"Angels", the ballad that gave the arrogant Britpop his final blow. "Twenty years later I am a different person. I'm safe, I love my life," Robbie said goodbye to bring peace of mind to his followers, but not before inviting them to pressure his manager so that the next reunion does not take another two decades. It's in your hands, Rick.

There will be new seats available due to increased capacity, reports the production company

Before leaving Lima, Robbie Williams promised to "try to come back very, very soon" and so it will be. The One production company Entertainment announced this afternoon when and where the British artist's second concert will be, in which he will present his new studio album "Britpop", as well as his greatest hits.

Robbie Williams Britpop The Final Show will be on Saturday, December 12, at the San Marcos stadium in Lima, he specifies when informing that there will be new seats available due to increased capacity (only in grandstands).

Robbie Williams returns to Peru for an unforgettable night at the San Marcos stadium, with the last show of the year of his spectacular Britpop The Final Show," One Entertainment announced on its social networks.

The exclusive presale of tickets (Ticketmaster) with Interbank cards will take place on Tuesday, October 6, from 10:00 a.m.; and the general sale, on Thursday, October 8, from 10:00 a.m.

"Get ready to sing your greatest hits at the top of your lungs and live a concert that promises to be epic," says the producer who on the eve announced that today there would be "announcement at 5 p.m."

Frustrated concert
The District Municipality of San Miguel ordered the closure of Arena 1 Park after warning of serious security risks during the artist's first show and, with it, the second presentation date (September 24) was frustrated.

On September 25, the English star left the Belmond Hotel, in Miraflores, where he had stayed since his arrival in Lima, but before boarding his truck he left a message to the fans who remained on the outskirts: "I'm going to try to come back very, very soon, ok?, and make up to them."

After again regretting that the second concert could not be given, he insisted that "I promise you that I will return and that we will have that moment together. I can't wait!"

On the night of September 24, when he was due to give his second performance, Robbie Williams said he was heartbroken. He wanted to give an unforgettable moment to his followers and improvised a small show outside the hotel. A cappella and to the rhythm of the chords of his guitar, he sang his iconic song Angels and Feel, accompanied by the fans.

Intimate connection
The Briton arrived in Lima in full maturity after recovering the success of his early years as a solo artist, thanks to the documentary about his story broadcast on Netfilx and, especially, the film Better Man, Ticketmaster reported.

In it he told his biography in an ironic, playful and raw way, and was represented by an animated monkey, something that earned him international nominations, including one for the Oscars. In Peru, the film was seen by more than 100,000 people.

During his first performance at Arena 1 Park, Robbie performed hits such as Angels, Feel, Supreme and Millennium, which crowned his first stage as a soloist, in which he made known his enormous connection with the public in his live shows, considered among the best that a Brit offers, due to his high potential as an entertainer and showman.

After 20 years, Robbie Williams returned this weekend to Argentina and he fulfilled a promise he had made in 2025. Among the crowd that attended the Arena de Buenos Aires, there was a young woman who was able to put a Finishing touch to a story with the singer who It had started a year ago during a show in Helsinki, Finland.

Camila Castiñeiras, a 32-year-old woman and fan of the Briton since she was 10, had traveled with her boyfriend to the Nordic country in September 2025 to see the Northern Lights. His stay coincided with a show by the musician in the Finnish capital and They did not hesitate to get tickets to go see him.

"In Helsinki, I sent him a mate with the names of his four children and his wife. The Argentine fan club contacted me to give him the gift and he uploaded it to his networks," he said in dialogue with TN.

The couple queued outside Helsinki's Olympic Stadium and managed to reach the fence. Camila carried a sign that she had written before the recital with a special message: "I came from Argentina to see you." In addition, he accompanied it with a phrase from the song Forbidden Road: "Life is the choices that we make".

But there was a detail that could complicate the reunion: Camila had gone to live in Spain in February of this year, days before the announcement of the shows at the Arena in Buenos Aires.

"I said 'I have to go no matter what' and my boyfriend thought the same, so there I was," she said with a laugh. For this occasion, Camila carried another sign to thank him for having fulfilled the promise he had made to her in Helsinki.

"I had to go at 6 in the morning to line up and get to the fence, but it was worth it. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to say 'thank you for the promise you made to me'," said the Briton's fan.

In that sense, she added: "It was very special that he saw the poster and looked at me. He pointed at me and made a gesture to say 'I complied, I'm here'". The moment was filmed by another fan and Camila could not hide her emotion

"The truth is that Robbie is very special to me. When I was a girl he played his music and transported me, he took me out of sad situations and made me happy. I always dreamed of meeting him," said the young woman in TN.

In turn, he added: "After everything he exposed about his addictions and his fears, seeing how he expresses himself, the love with which he talks about his family and that he has managed to be well and happy, is extremely inspiring and makes me connect much more with his person."

To close, the young woman reflected: "If I could tell you something, it would be that having seen his demons has made me admire him even more, I felt very identified with his personal battles and it was very inspiring to me to see how he went through it and how he was able to overcome it."

“I think he is a very brave person and I thank him for making me so happy for so many years. It does me good to see him happy and fulfilled with his family," Camila concluded.
