Surprised about the #2 in Ireland as their album charts are even more streaming heavy than ours! Definitely will go #1 at some point, maybe even next week?

I mean, if her marketing team wanted people to get talking about this album QUICKLY, then they’ve done a great job. My Twitter feed is just flooded with discourse about the album cover. The thing is

Its not a replica, it's a reference. The photo she's referencing is a lively dance floor where Marilyn and her husband are in full embrace looking at the same thing in the distance. In Sabrina's cover

Its gotta be CMAT is doing massive sales. Short n sweet was a huge project in Ireland, as Javier pointed out, 19 weeks at #1, and MBF continued mostly where SnS left off, 5 weeks at the top for manchild, tears at #3, My Man on Willpower also scoring a top 10, with Nobody's Son at 12, gotta imagine manchild was pretty high too on ACR. CMAT meanwhile, 17th as the highest with the first new track coming in at 23rd, I think shows MBF controlled streaming in Ireland, just CMAT sold more

I mean she is Irish, some smaller artists Brits even have beaten big US names before

CMAT is Irish! The Irish are often very loyal to their own. Plus, CMAT seems to be the first Irish popstar with huge international momentum behind her in quite a while! I assume CMAT will be #1 there for a couple of weeks? Possibly until Ed, but it wouldn't surprise me if she reclaimed it the week after or something.

Love how the whole album is charting. I wonder where her album would be on our charts if the 3 song rule wasn't in place

On Monday all 12 tracks were either present or starred out within the top 20, that probably isnt quite true anymore but odds are still top 40

Manchild is now certified Platinum in Canada (80,000 units)

Sabrina Carpenter secures the UK’s biggest opening week for an international artist of 2025 so far as Man’s Best Friend debuts atop the Official Albums Chart.

Shifting 85,500 units in its first seven days, Sabrina’s seventh studio set eclipses the year’s previous best. Lady Gaga’s MAYHEM managed 55,500 units back in March, while Sam Fender holds the overall 2025 record, with People Watching shifting 107,000 units in its opening week.

Man’s Best Friend also tops the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, the most popular record of the week on wax.

It’s one of three Sabrina records in this week’s Top 40. Short n’ Sweet, 2025’s Official biggest album of the year so far, lifts five (8), as 2023 LP emails i can’t send reaches a brand-new peak, vaulting 113 spots (21).
