- As per the Friday chart thread, please do NOT post First Look spoilers before it airs on BBC Radio 1.

- On any other days, information may come from outside sources but this is not regular. Anything we have will be posted, and anything that's posted must come with a source to prove its reliability.

- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information, and when a chart mod is available.

- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and streaming threads.

I think getting streaming services to somehow give better support to newer stuff might be a preferable way of trying to solve this issue than modifying the chart even further beyond recognition.

Official Charts Report

Alex Warren’s Ordinary is back at Number 1 on the Official Chart: First Look, proving it’s not out of the running despite Sabrina Carpenter’s Manchild breaking its impressive 12-week stint on Friday. Manchild is only a handful of sales behind however, so it's still all to play for on this week's Official Singles Chart.

Blessings by Calvin Harris & Clementine Douglas (6) is up two places after 48 hours, if it holds on this will mark a new peak for the track, while American DJ MK could see Dior ft. Chrystal fly up nine places, at Number 8 on the First Look.

Finally, Myles Smith’s Nice To Meet You is on the rebound, and could find itself back in the Top 20 come Friday (20).

The Official Chart: First Look offers a first glance of the Top 20 ahead of Friday’s Official Singles Chart Top 100. The chart is based on preliminary sales and early streaming reports.

I think it’s amazing that almost halfway through and we’re only just getting our second number one that was released this year! Has that ever happened before? Not sure how that reflects on the current health of our charts though.

I have done it a couple of times before so I don't mind doing it again unless someone else wants to have a go.

Hoping Twenty One Pilots can sneak into the First Look.

I think Joseph had to Shazam Overcompensate when it charted, so heads up to whoever does it... If they start playing a random track you don't recognise.... Chances are it's The Contract 😂

20 minutes to first look !

Radio 1 have just been talking about FOMO !!

Fun fact

We are fast approaching the 10th anniversary of the chart being on a Friday.

The first Friday chart was on the 10th July 2015,

I won't be listening to the First Look chart today because I'm listening to Capital's Summertime Ball.
