Oh cool. Good to know and fingers crossed then.

Not sure if it managed a fourth day Top 200 on Spotify?

  • This! He should have had written permission from Buzzjack to be asbent two days in a row, with a majority approval required!

I think getting streaming services to somehow give better support to newer stuff might be a preferable way of trying to solve this issue than modifying the chart even further beyond recognition.

Already been said but worth repeating - amazing to see Pulp holding top 5

Sorry to ask but will Girls Aloud be charting on the DVD chart rather than the albums?

I would've thought it would be the Blu Ray chart as that's the main format it's available on. The DVD and CD versions are not available on their own.

I guess if the album streamed well digitally then it could go into the chart that way but it feels like it's more of a physical product people would want to own.

I see! Thank you! I didn’t realise the CD wasn’t available on its own.

The price point of the whole thing seemed rather high though although I do want it.

Is there a new version of Oasis album out to give it a boost?

Great to see Pulp holding up very decently on week as i was expecting a huge drop for it so its a great surprise.

Pity Biffy will likely fall out by Friday, woulda been their first charting single in 12 years. Indie acts really need to do a Sabrina and release their physicals on week one, guess they just don’t care.

Yeah there's a standard black vinyl pressing widely available now! It originally got a limited coloured vinyl run for Record Store Day.

There's also a new CD with remastered audio. It's all to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the compilation.

Not quite! Space charted at #81 in 2020.

the Oasis vinyl is super expensive, it's like 70 pounds, so surprised it's so high

was expecting Sabrina to be closer, thats quite the lead :/ Ordinary must be doing very well on Amazon

We don't know the vinyl to CD numbers for Oasis so it could be more CDs than anything. Saying that fans were paying hundreds/thousands for tickets to the tour so it wouldn't be a total surprise if the vinyl numbers were high even with the price tag.

Polyhex must be top 75 then!

Sad to see Snubrina Carpenter falling already but at least Ordinary can't ruin my childhood now and take over Bryan's record, even if it goes back to #1 for another 15 weeks.

ACR isn't working as the labels have manipulated things so the charts are just as slow and boring as they were anyway, we need double ACR or whatever is needed to flush out the old hits or you'll never get young people interested in the charts. Feel like most of us only follow now cos of tradition and habit (guessing there aren't too many teenagers on Buzzjack going on the comments the most prolific posters make).

Think someone on here said the 'Hot Hits' playlists needed to have a faster turnaround and be more adventurous and I'd definitely be behind that. It was rare for even the biggest hits from my late 80s/90s childhood to last longer than a couple of months apart from the most famous long-runners from films, which got a lot of people who wouldn't normally buy records to do exactly that.

Also, a 'hit' to me in 2025 is something I heard on the radio loads regardless of where it charted. It's no wonder so many of us have our own faster and more exciting personal charts really, is it?

Just looking at 2019 UK charts for nostalgia at the moment and it seems faster for chart speed.

"Ordinary" is pretty much ahead everywhere except Spotify (Amazon/Apple/Youtube/paid-for sales etc), so Sabrina needs a much bigger lead on spotify to stand a chance at #1 again.
