It peaked at number 17 maybe, but it spent 6 weeks top 40 and just outside top 50 on 7th week its hardly a flop 😂😂

His most recent release last week entered in the top 10. Old Phone peaked at 17 and was top 40 for a few weeks. Azizam was also an 11 week top 10 hit peaking at no3 hardly ‘another flop’ lol.

So does that make What Was That by Lorde a flop?

That was the lead single from an album, spent 2 weeks Top 20 without making the Top 10 and 6 weeks Top 40.

Just a comparison because they did similar things in the charts.

You keep focusing on Old Phone when that was just one of my points. Old Phone isn’t a flop albeit it’s not a huge hit but the other release was a big big hit and Saphire has started off well too!

If 'Victory Lap' goes top 10 that'll be the second top 10 hit for Skepta nearly 13 years after his first! (I think we've had a thread about such long gaps before but not sure how to go about finding it x).

Feels wrong that he's only had one before, and of all things it was just a feature on a long forgotten Wiley song.

what makes the Ed songs more of a flop is how their success is 100% due to Alexa/Amazon, all have done poorly on Spotify,

but paying Alexa to play the song every 5 minutes kinda helps :)
