Votes welcome for up to five of your favourites, with the song with the most votes played at the start of next week's session!

My votes (sadly no room for Split Enz, they'd have made it in any other week so far!)

Diana Ross - Upside Down

Ultravox - Sleepwalk

Abba - The Winner Takes It All

David Bowie - Ashes To Ashes

The Clash - Bankrobber

5 favourites this week:

ABBA - The Winner Takes It All

David Bowie - Ashes To Ashes

Gary Numan - I Die, You Die

The Jam - Start!

Ultravox - Sleepwalk

Bow Wow Wow - C·30 C·60 C·90 Go

David Bowie - Ashes To Ashes

John Foxx - Burning Car

Split Enz - I Got You

Ultravox - Sleepwalk

Bowie aside, mostly songs that are quite new to me getting my votes this week - John Foxx was definitely a first listen (3 for 3 on him getting nominations from me!) and I am not sure I've ever heard the Bow Wow Wow or Ultravox songs in full before either although they did both sound familiar. Split Enz was a recent discovery from BJSC.

Next best songs that I already knew well are George Benson and ABBA, and next best discoveries were Hazel O'Connor, Grace Jones and Peter Gabriel. I do have a feeling the Grace Jones one in particular could grow on me a lot more with more listens, very interesting song!

David Bowie - Ashes To Ashes

George Benson - Give Me The Night

Diana Ross - Upside Down

John Foxx - Burning Car

Grace Jones - Private Life

Ultravox - Sleepwalk

Electric Light Orchestra - All Over The World

David Bowie - Ashes To Ashes

Peter Gabriel - Biko

Hazel O'Connor - Eighth Day

No room for Split Enz, Piranhas or Bow Wow Wow

having trouble finding 5 I truly like...

1) Shalamar - I Owe you one

2) Biko

3) Split Enz - I Got You

4) David Bowie - Ashes To Ashes

5) Ultravox - Sleepwalk

Tough narrowing it down to 5 but here goes:

George Duke - Brazilian Love Affair

Roxy Music - Oh Yeah (On The Radio)

Electric Light Orchestra - All Over The World

Skids - Circus Games

Split Enz - I Got You

Worst:

Bow Wow Wow - C30, C60, C90, Go

Will the clash with the women's Euro finals be an issue this week? (I'm probably fine to multitask - of course we were about 2 minutes and one Michelle Agyemang away from me not caring at all about the final x)

Good shout and I'd been thinking to skip the following Sunday anyway, so let's have a mini-break over the next couple of weekends.

The next listening session will be on Sunday 10 August at 16:00.

Fair jump

(Ozzy Osbourne to be a big enough RIP to get multiple songs played when we come back? Could definitely at least have a solo song and a Sabbath song x)
