You wouldn't bet against them making it 3 next season either.Penny for Mbappe's thoughts meanwhile as he experiences a second trophyless season at the club he left PSG for.

19 hours ago19 hr I hope Eze isn't planning on taking any penalties for England because that was... just terrible.
7 hours ago7 hr I think Eze with that funny jig of a penalty got us nowhere in the end. Mikal please make note, do not let Eze take any penalties
6 hours ago6 hr One thing I'm not too sure of and I say this as a Liverpool hating Manchester United fan 😂 But I'm not quite sure I've seen such universal dislike on social media for Arsenal. I avoided all forms of social media after the 2022 final loss as a Liverpool fan, as that was a tough end of season to stomach, but I've genuinely not seen as much 'banter' or people rolling in the delight of Arsenal fans ever. I'm not sure I've ever seen it this bad. Maybe it's because it's a London thing and there's more club rivalries. Or maybe Artete has managed to make Arsenal universally hated haha.
6 hours ago6 hr It's their fanbase I think. Many years of enjoying the overreactions of AFTV when they were shit and now they're winning everyone hates that they're all glum and cocky. And yeah Arteta's Haramball style of play isn't helping either.
5 hours ago5 hr I would argue that Asian EPL fans are probably the biggest influence here. There was a reason why anti-football term is slowly being replaced by haram-ball. I can at least confirm here that one of the most disliked pundits/football content creators here is an Arsenal fan, so seeing them losing can be seen as their scapegoat. They are mostly disliking on why Arsenal fans are "too proud" of their low ball possessions and goals taken from set pieces and throw-ins.That's at least the POV of where I am living now, but I personally feel it's kinda overhated as well.
4 hours ago4 hr As Dobbo touched upon it's the Arsenal fanbase on social media that is mainly the driving force behind it as historically they have tended to get cocky being in winning situations before success is confirmed which is why the term "bottlers" has been thrown at them so much when they eventually fall short. But in the case of this match it was the fact that they have never won the Champions League that united fans of everyone who doesn't support Arsenal together. Them winning the Premier League is not something that is unprecedented and unless you are very young it's something that has happened in people's lifetimes. Winning the Champions League on the other hand would have broken new ground and especially to combine it with the Premier League title that really would have been something else. Their style of football and the way they approached the final was another reason why so many people wanted them to lose."You'll never sing that, you'll never sing that, champions of Europe, you'll never sing that" will always remain the chant aimed at Arsenal and a chant that feels like it was specifically made for them until they can prove everyone wrong.
3 hours ago3 hr Author I get the dislike of arsenal but for me it’s more a dislike of Arteta and his style even in terms of the way he acts on the touchline, I was going mad yeaterday the way he runs along the touchline shouting things clearly outside his box and nearly on the pitch itself. As for social media I don’t really follow that much apart from on here so don’t see it.As a Liverpool fan I don’t get the cockiness of winning because I’m one of those fans who worries and is cynical about everything so even when he look awesome I generally tend to play it down as I know football has a way of biting you in the arse. I also found United fans (especially living in Ireland) as very cocky when I was growing up from my experience which is why I hate them. Just the chants at every game about scousers and city even when yous aren’t playing them.
