Posted Yesterday at 21:161 day Hey everyone!Welcome to the new Sabrina Carpenter artist forum, a lot of people have asked for it and here we are!I figured as an introduction to this page, i'd ask for everyone's introduction to sabrina. For me, I grew up as a huge boy meets world fan, the original run was before my time but I loved watching re-runs of it on TV whenever it came on. So when girl meets world was announced, i was so excited. And one day I decided to check if i'd seen any of the actors in anything else, and i found her debut single Can't Blame a Girl for Trying, and I was sold. A little over a decade later here we are, anticipating her 7th album! So when was your introduction?
Yesterday at 21:221 day My introduction to Sabrina was in 2016 when her song 'On Purpose' was sent to the BuzzJack Song Contest!

23 hours ago23 hr My first memory of Sabrina was when 'Thumbs' was sent to BJSC! I think 'Smoke and Fire' was my first introduction to her. Can't say I remember anything from memory bar 'Thumbs' though. But then the singles from EICS I had heard and then obviously she went to a complete new level from that point on.I'm not sure I was *that* on board with her until 'Please Please Please' though! 'Espresso' is a cute bop, but I never *loved* it the way many, MANY others clearly do. It's extremely catchy though.

Please is such a different song than Espresso sonically, and she has said it was the first time she could fully embracing being funny while talking about a more real topic. Which really i think was a big part of why short n sweet became what it is
16 hours ago16 hr I’d heard of Sabrina Carpenter since her debut album Eyes Wide Open but had never actually heard any of her songs until Espresso.I liked all the singles from Short ‘n’ Sweet and listened to the album once or twice. Really liking Manchild as well.I’ve just made a Sabrina Carpenter playlist of her 6 albums, so the aim is to work my way through them at some stage.

Would be really interesting to hear what you liked/disliked from all of them after hearing them like that
5 hours ago5 hr I think the first thing I ever heard of hers was 'Skin' on release and I thought it was alright. I couldn't tell you how it goes.

3 hours ago3 hr My first knowledge of her was Thumbs, for the same reason as Jonjo, with BJSC in 2017.I can't say I thought about her much in between that and Emails I Can't Send though, even seeing her on remix collabs with Zara Larsson and being a bit like "meh, who is this girl?".The Olivia scandal made me take notice of her more as a public figure, then I thought "because i liked a boy" was cunty so I was like ...fair play, she's got something going for her. Then, someone in my office at work kept playing Nonsense, just a bit before it started blowing up on TikTok and I loved it, so I think that's when I gave the album a listen and decided she was someone I should indulge in. Then, Feather was equally fantastic. And Short N Sweet really solidified me a huge stan. I've always been a big fan of full-on, personality driven pop. It's what drove me to Gwen Stefani as a child, then Katy Perry as a teenager. They both were unashamedly pop, but they brought character to their lyrics and videos which felt kind of cartoonish and playful/didn't take itself seriously. And Sabrina fits into that perfectly now, her personality is always so cleverly woven into every track and I just think she was born to be an A-list popstar. She just gets it and I think she'll be able to endure the next few years for that reason.

I’d like to.I did it with Kylie Minogue’s and Taylor Swift’s albums last year.I might not be for a while a few months though. I’ve hit a pretty busy few weeks and then I’m off to Europe for a month in August.
