Monday at 15:433 days I'm very intrigued as to who will be #1 in the albums chart this week. My money would still be on Wet Leg, but I'm not overly confident...
Monday at 16:053 days Maybes Wet Leg at this stage but Bieber could overtake as he’ll have the streaming numbers!
Monday at 16:073 days Bieber is so weak on Amazon I’d be surprised if he could get 20k and wet leg will easily be 20k+

Monday at 16:123 days Oh wow wasn't expecting Bieber to be quite so low! I knew Wet Leg would likely be selling more but #5 seems a massive underperformance at this stage?

I knew Wet Leg would likely be selling more but #5 seems a massive underperformance at this stage? His last album, Justice, "only" sold 21k on debut and that had a full physical release with variants from the start. This is digital only for now, so I'd say he could end up higher by the end of the week (especially given how we know streaming is a day behind).
Monday at 16:193 days Surprised at those Bieber numbers- looking likely Sabrina's streak will continue. Interested in seeing Wet Leg's sales Edited Monday at 16:203 days by gasman449

It seems to have been quite a muted comeback all in all.

Monday at 16:523 days Ed and Fleetwood Mac are ahead of Sabrina now, no way she's keeping her streak... Noticed Bitter Sweet Symphony sneaking in at the bottom end of the singles, hope it can get a reset along with Dakota!

Monday at 17:013 days Streaming numbers are very poorly accounted for in the UK Top Albums chart. So I’m not surprised that Bieber is debuting around number 5.The UK really needs to take a page from what Billboard does in the US when it comes to streaming, to better reflect the actual popularity of an album over the week. That would also put an end to all those pointless number ones on the UK Albums Chart — albums that debut at #1 with barely decent physical sales and often disastrous streaming figures. Then the following week, they drop 50 places, or in some cases, fall out of the Top 100 entirely.Streaming is now the main way people consume music. It only makes sense that it should be given much more weight in the UK Albums Chart rankings.

I think it's fair to say Bieber just isn't performing exceptionally well, and that's being reflected.

They also don't care about how long albums are which is why Morgan Wallen and his 50-year-long albums dominate, the UK accounts for that by only looking at the top 16 songs. The way the albums chart is calculated is mostly fine as is, they just need to do something about greatest hits/catalogue domination.
Monday at 17:103 days Short n sweet is behind ed and Fleetwood, does anyone know why thatd be? Ed I can understand, she's been only a few hundred units above for a few weeks now, but Fleetwood was comfortable by 1500 or more
