It’s funny how they were active this week on their social media but they couldn’t be bothered to announce 12" 1986 part 1 when we usually get 12" 80s in January. I expect that to be the first announcement we get next year

They're probably on their Christmas holidays now. Probably won't see anything until the second Thursday in January (8th). Have a good Christmas!

They announced sounds of the suburbs on 9th January and released it on 31st January so I expect it to be a same situation with 12" 1986 part 1 and I will have a good Christmas and same goes to you. I’m surprised their first announcement this year wasn’t on 2nd January as it was back to work day

Looks nearly the same with about 2-3 songs swapped and the tracklist shuffled

2007 on the whole was very strong for the numbered Nows. Any rehashes will be relatively minor. The Millennium '06-'07 was the same; they had to dig a bit deeper for more obscure tracks.

I’m hoping the next yearbook in February will be 1985-1989 instead of 70s but I can’t see it being the former as we already have vault 1982 scheduled for next month and 12" 1986 part 1 is more likely to land next month too. They’ll need to rush 1985-1989 if they’re gonna continue the vault

I’ve started creating alternative tracklists and artworks for Now 30-Now 59 featuring just songs that were omitted from the originals if anybody’s interested in me posting them once every few days or so.

I was stuck for a place for the Tweenies song as it’s one of those tracks that sticks out wherever unless it was at the end of one of the discs.

I have recently created a Spotify account so I’ll create a playlist and edit the post with the link at some point over the weekend.

I’m currently working on Now 48 too, should be finished tomorrow! 😁
