July 23Jul 23 This is really good! Wonder when (or if) it will be up for streaming!Definitely more in the rock lane than the rest of her solo stuff!
July 23Jul 23 Author The track was just premiered in that radio station and it's called "Mirtazapine". It's an Alternative-ish song, which was really good on first listen. No release date hasn't been announced yet, but the CD-R that was given to the station has another track called "Glum".
July 28Jul 28 New studio album from Hayley Williams, seemingly titled EGO, just surprise dropped in its entirety (well, with the purchase of hair dye)https://www.hayleywilliams.net/Access Code: LeMYMn0|snosHG@
July 28Jul 28 This is basically a nineties breakup album, and somehow everything I needed on a hazy July evening
July 28Jul 28 Slowly making my way through this... Was not expecting a chilled The Bad Touch sample (though that song was the first thing that came to mind when I saw DiscoveryChannel.mp3!)So far... The album is much more mellow than I expected, based purely on Mirtazapine... (I was definitely expecting a rock album) Edited July 28Jul 28 by Juranamo

July 28Jul 28 Do you know what She could have at least warned us, I'm scared to Google anymore lyrics, so much for my early night!! She can do no wrong but I just feel devastated over the subject of these songs! I'm hoping they aren't recent writes for her and are a collection of songs she's had stashed since her divorce etc

That said, each song has their own artwork, so this is a plus, I guess.1. "Kill Me"2. "True Believer"3. "Blood Bros"4. "Negative Self Talk"5. "Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party"6. "Ice In My OJ"7. "Mirtazapine"8. "Brotherly Hate"9. "Hard"10. "Dream Girl In Shibuya"11. "Discovery Channel"12. "Zissou"13. "Love Me Different"14. "I Won't Quit On You"15. "Disappearing Man"16. "Glum"17. "Whim"

July 31Jul 31 Author "Glum" seems to be the focus track so far. It's the one which appears on Spotify's New Music Friday AU & NZ.
August 1Aug 1 I like 'Mirtazapine' better than 'Glum'. Really liking the Garbage-ish vibes on it.Also, all songs on streaming separately now as singles. 10/10 for marketing. Edited August 1Aug 1 by AllStarBySmashMouth
August 2Aug 2 I think Hayley purposefully didn't want to order them which is why the icons were scattered and moveable on her website, releasing them like this lets you add it to your playlist in whatever order you like. I think these are just a collection of unreleased singles so she probably has written them over a considerable period of time. What I will say is they are cohesive enough that they could make up an album if she wanted them to. She's been very vocal about releasing solo music just for herself and as an outlet rather than a means of making money/gaining commercial success so I guess the decision to drop these songs in the way she has is just testament to that.
