I’m seeing the BB logo starting to be advertised on ITV so the launch can’t be too far away now. 👀 I’ve seen one article suggest a September 28/29 start date but that’s only based on last year’s launch. Hoping for a slightly longer series this time as the drama of last year could’ve easily continued for a couple more weeks.

Anyway very excited to see what they have planned for this year! Last year’s series was fantastic!!

Hopefully this series is better than the last.

If its still a short season, hopefully less HMs as you just don't need 16 for such a short series - there was so much dead wood last year

If its short like previous years they need less in the final few days as it always feels far to rushed.

If the logos around now it’ll likely be the start of sept, which is all good with me as they usually have it before IAC starts so maybe is going to be 2 months!!

They confirmed a while ago that it's been extended by a week (taking it to 7 weeks) to celebrate the 25th anniversary!

I saw the trailer on TikTok and I'm excited for it to be back now for sure!

Another week will make a difference in a good way but ideally it would be 2 weeks longer.

I wonder if they’ll shift its run forward two weeks to accommodate (1) the extra week and (2) avoiding the final clashing with Children In Need like last year.

Really hoping that the house has had a shake up, and that the series can gain a bit of momentum this year.

Everything is pointing to a September 28/29 launch date so just over a month to go hopefully!

There are teasers that “the game is changing”, speculation is that they are bringing in some US format style changes which I’d be here for! It doesn’t have to be the full shebang, I think the save and replace from Josie’s series and doing more with the head of household thing would be enough. The UK format is so dry and I keep struggling to make it through a full series so I think shaking it up a bit works. Seeing as The Traitors is so popular I don’t think it’s entirely remiss to retool a bit but they’d need to have casted it right so we don’t a Survivor UK type flop, which I highly doubt they would do.

Maybe the HOH could do a killer nomination, then the house nominate as normal, and then they do the veto (save and replace) to finalise the nominees.

Yeah they've tried in a few series' to have elements of the US series.

BB9 had a head of house for a few weeks

BB11 had save and replace

BB19 had a sort of save and replace thing (although was all about BB coins IIRC)

Last year had elements too.

There are so many ways they could make the standard set-up work, last years series was awful. So hopefully this one will be an improvement

I hope we get more of the US format! It definitely makes the show more exciting.
