Just managed to scrape a top 10 debut in the albums.

It's always a bit of a risk chart-wise to go ahead with a digital-only release, as I said in this week's commentary. A top ten position suggests that his record company were right to go ahead without waiting for physical copies. We'll see what happens when the CDs and vinyls are released. No doubt the record company are hoping that his profile will be even higher by then.

I'm really impressed this managed to debut top 10, without physicals, and with a really respectable sales total too! I'm sure it'll hang around well too given it's riding almost entirely on streaming.

I’m so pleased that the album managed Top 10! With sales that are amongst the highest needed for a #10 position in 2025.

I wish 12 to 12 had managed it too… I hope #11 doesn’t end up being its peak.

Coming to it a week late, but the sombr album is fantastic. I liked all the singles, but amazingly I think almost all the non-released / non-viral album tracks are better than the singles!

Have this a spin today and really enjoyed it!
