They are songs that deserve a place on Capital Anthems in the coming years before more presenters are hired

July 19Jul 19 Author With this week's announcement of six presenters leaving Radio 1 in September surely one of them will be joining Capital. Obviously there are no vacancies right now at Capital but I don't think these four presenters will be on Capital much longer: Kemi Rodgers, Aimee Vivian, Jimmy Hill and Jay London. So out of the six who have left Radio 1 who is likely to join?Dean McCullough - Dean would be much better at Hits Radio in my opinion but because he's known(ish) to the general public from IAC I can see Capital wanting him.Nat O'Leary - Nat would be AMAZING at Capital and I'd definitely listen a lot more if she was on there.James Cusack - He could return to Capital nationally as he has already done cover work for Capital and Heart drive when it wasn't nationalised.Rickie, Melvin and Swarzy are unlikely I'd say.

Nat most likely will be off to KISS tho.

July 22Jul 22 Just heard BTS are on Capital Breakfast tomorrow. Wonder how Jordan North will cope with the biggest boybands in the world in Kensington Palace, where Prince William once residedAnd maybe we could get IShowSpeed or Sabrina Carpenter for the next British Day Out Edited July 22Jul 22 by Sami Hook Jama
July 24Jul 24 Cash Call now set to finally hit £1000000 Could this be the last one? Who could the biggest celebrity to pull this off?
July 31Jul 31 Capital will be live from Gatwick Airport on Friday 14th August from the “Jordan North Terminal” where they will give out tons of holidays and £10,000 Edited July 31Jul 31 by Sami Hook Jama
July 31Jul 31 Seems very obtuse to be giving away holidays in an airport whilst people are going on holiday 🤣

August 12Aug 12 Author I hope Will Manning is alright, he was off very last minute yesterday with Joe Hollywood covering and Joe's back today. Would've preferred Lydia to cover, who is long overdue a weekday slot.
August 12Aug 12 Maybe something came up but hopefully he’ll be back tomorrow I wonder if Dev may cover Big Top 40 again because of that
