K is for Kids.

A battle of two famous 00s 'Kids' now! Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue were first to unleash their 'Kids' onto the world, released in October 2000, and gave them both a #2 hit - beaten to the top by U2's Beautiful Day. The hype and anticipation over this duet must have been MEGA!

Almost exactly 8 years later and American rock band MGMT released their own 'Kids' as the third single to their debut album Oracular Spectacular, and is still their biggest hit to date, peaking at 16.

MGMT, a classic. And I'm not much a fan of Robbie and Kylie's.

MGMT by miles and miles - how is it 3-3? 😅

5-3 now! Possibly the first of these where I have a clear preference.

Both great in their own way but MGMT's is superior.

I was tempted to vote Robbie and Kylie as it was a fun collab and 8 year old me would have voted it no hesitation but MGMT's gets the nod as it's the stronger one realistically.

Both are brilliant songs, but Robbie & Kylie's version is just that little bit more nostalgic for me, and I'm going to vote for that.

Going with MGMT, though I liked the Robbie/Kylie one more at the time.

And it's now 11-4 to MGMT.
