The power pop band was Americnan but had more success in the UK, and the album “Bright Idea” topped the chart as well as the single “No Tomorrow”. However this follow up only reached #11 in May 2006 and subsequent singles missed the Top 20.

Bright Idea is fantastic and definitely not deserving of first elimination. It's my 3rd fave of the whole list

I liked Orson too, prefer 'Bright Idea' over 'No Tomorrow' even (though a small gap between the two).

Going for The Script, the singles from their debut were fairly hit or miss for me.

'Bright Idea' is terrible. "Here's my bright idea, how about I just disappear". Gawd.

Nickelback now though. They had worse songs but it's pretty annoying and his voice goes right through me

This round feels very vanilla for me - there's nothing left I dislike as such, but I wouldn't exactly be thrilled to listen to many of them again either.

Switching to Five, a curious #9 'flop' for them but it must have had decent sales to get here.

Apart from Train drops of Jupiter none of the other songs are big faves of mine but i dont hate any of them either.

I don't even need to look at what else is there when I see Rockstar.
