I've not heard the album yet (been pretty ill - still need to listen to Perrie & Zara too!) but 'AAAHH MEN!' is the one track I've seen from people who have heard the album, consistently say that it's a highlight! Hope it can get higher. 'Gorgeous' now has a video too so should see some nice boosts for that too.

Hers to lose this week!

Not perrie and Olivia both releasing a song called baby steps on the same day 🤣 got my hopes up for a second

Both album tracks though. Would’ve been funny if they were both singles

Impressive but I saw it coming a while ago. When I said a month ago poor Taylor with a bad timing I got yelled in here as I can't be happy for Olivia but still sad for Taylor timing in the slowest year ever she's coming against the biggest song of the year (at least for this week) bring the hate against me again, that's fine :) Anyway, happy for her really. She's great.

I know its said every week but surely she cant lose it now 🤣🤣

No, she can't. A deserving number 1.

'Nice to Each Other' above 'Golden' as well! o

For me it's much better than MIN but I guess I'm in minority!

Was starting to think its destined to be this year's love the way you lie or moves like Jagger 😅

No no, it's too big for that... her momentum is huge, the critics loves her and the GP also. She's the HOT right now.

It's so weird though because I think casually I'm not sure I know many people that I speak to actually know who Olivia Dean is... it's such a crazy trajectory. Happy for another British female breaking out though! I really think she'll be big with the GRAMMYs in 2027!

Same.

Presuming 'Nice To Each Other' should be good to finally go top 5 this week - I guess 'Golden' has scammed its way to staying on SCR with the very convenient timing of its video streams suddenly counting now but should have a clear path to #4 at least?

Tame Impala's new song debuting at #77 which is the highest of the era so far. The other two only spent one day in the top 200 each though. I keep expecting something from him to eventually break through a bit more (although if he ever makes a top 40 breakthrough it's probably just as likely if not more that it'd just be one of his old songs getting a focused resurgence than a new release).

I mean it was more that you were calling Olivia's song the biggest hit of the year when it still had yet to even overtake 'Golden' (and will only do so this week).

This week will probably be its peak with the album release and even then it's not going to be touching the numbers 'Fortnight' did so if the new Taylor album is anywhere near as big she's going to breeze to #1 anyway. I don't see the need for weeks of dramatising the hypothetical situation that the world's biggest musician might (but probably still won't) have to settle for not being #1 on one occasion. Not least because no one has even heard any of the songs yet.

Or have golden and the other KDH been missing out because the video streams should of counted sooner

If they had counted sooner it would presumably have declined in each of the last 3 weeks I mean. It had an 'increase' last week but it (probably) wasn't a real one. Unless #1 on the video streaming chart is not even worth 1.2k sales.
