Iirc fortnight had the previous record with 25 million so I’m gagged to see the total. I am happy she chose this as the single as it’s the best song on the album in my opinion!

Ed's record with Divide finally vanquished?

This is the one I'm interested in. It's been 8.5 years and Divide still holds the record for most streaming sales in a week which is absolutely insane.

Can’t remember the exact album streaming rules, will Taylor’s album be hurt by only having 12 tracks?

To some extent yes as streams for up to 16 tracks can count towards the albums chart, but that also means it'll be on the same playing field as Divide as I'm almost certain only a maximum of 12 tracks counted towards the albums chart at the time.

She will no doubt have about another 12-200 tracks ready for the deluxe anyways 😂

Pretty remarkable that Taylor hasn’t had a #1-3 in the singles chart yet, ofc that will change on Friday!

What does everyone think the order is likely to be?

When TTPD was released:

01 93,451 Fortnight

02 66,073 Too Sweet

03 60,243 The Tortured Poets Department

04 59,225 Down Bad

Olivia was on 76k last week and HUNTR/X was on 65k. Obviously we don't know how big Taylor's new one is yet but I wouldn't say all of the top 3 is on lock yet.

Huntrx did slip a bit, Taylor might overtake them but Olivia when this isnt a well received album I don't know. First look may look that way but by the end of the week?

Yeah top 1-3 is a remarkable feat , dont see Taylor doing it tbf , and sabrina was lucky last year that the competition was smaller

Im not so sure the negative reviews and press is actually a bad thing, if anything its more likely to entice casuals and haters to give it a listen 🤣 (which is still a win win in my book 🤣🤣)

For now. It doesn't ensure its longevity though

TTPD was hated week 1 and it stayed top 40 all year and hasn't left top 100 since release week shall see 🤭

Oh her album will do well. Its the singles chart, Fornight didn't have a long stay high run

Cruel summer and anti hero aside she never been known for long running singles 🤣

TTPD did have the advantage of the eras tour + a massive track lenght. Over time I wouldn't predict this new one to perform as well as previous.
