Nice turnout here, looks to be the 2nd most ever after the 1997 edition with 28 entries! I do also know the Righeira song via Jade (pretty sure she played it a couple of times on plug.dj back in the day) but otherwise all new to me I believe and only a handful of artists I recognise - Björk and Sigur Rós somewhat sticking out like sore thumbs among a sea of more obscure artists but very much looking forward to hearing those two nonetheless.

My Club Bizarre flop artists seem to be getting a second life this week - first Loukeman showed up on the collaborator list for PinkPantheress' remix album and now Liaisons Dangereuses have been recycled here!

I feel a little more confident with my song choice here than I typically do for this contest so I do hope you all enjoy.

Actually I did have an inkling that I recognised the title of the Lena Philipsson song - just checked and it won the BJSC Eurovision Rejects spinoff (a relatively lowkey event that was held in the Eurovision forum rather than BJSC, which I didn't enter, I think that was actually the last song contest that I skipped lol). Although this was 12 years ago and there's a grand total of 2 people who participated in that who have also entered here so maybe it's not a big deal x

+ Mina was in an old BJSC spinoff too actually but didn't do anywhere near that well

'Gyöngyhajú lány' is actually familiar to me. Sampled on a certain track by that particular rapper and interpolated by Scorpions on 'White Dove'.

I thought about sending the Loona version of Hijo de la luna, which is on my Christmas playlist. The original is basically the same anyway, good choice.

Dansa I Neon is legendary, it apparently won a BJSC Eurovision spin-off according to a post by Qween, although I cannot remember anything about that or find any evidence of the contest otherwise existing, so it must have been a very long time ago.

It was in the Eurovision forum (see my last post in this thread).

You were one of the 2 people in this contest that also entered that so now we're only down to Addy who might remember it from that

I only know the Kate Ryan cover very well. I was today year's old when I learnt that France Gall released this over two decades after her Eurovision win.
