What colour was the 2016 vinyl - was it just black? I really don't know why they opted for silver with this new edition when pink or turquoise would have been soooo more appealing.

Yes I believe it was just black, or at least the one I got was.

There was a pink one at one point, possibly an original release - but not the right shade at all! I think that may be the only colour version until now

I agree turquoise would be great, especially if they matched it to the pale turqouise/blue of the original plastic of the CD album

Thanks! I was going to search to see if there was any 2016 copies available because I really want 'Bedtime Stories' on vinyl, but I'm put out by how much the silver vinyl clashes with the general aesthetic!

I've seen some people are hopeful we will still be getting proper deluxe albums in the future and these mini collections are just to tie us over (hence why the most sought-for material like 'Something's Coming Over Me' or the 2Pac collab aren't here) but I don't know if that's just wishful thinking. Strange that 'Ray of Light' didn't get a vinyl re-release or 2-disc CD release with 'Veronica Electronica'.

My Bedtime Stories vinyl is heavyweight 180g black. Packaging could be better, cover art is a little blurry.

This latest reissue looks better except for the vinyl itself.

Intrigued to hear her version, im a fan of Garys solo work but this was always one of least fave singles from him so im interested to see if Madonna can add much to the song.

The demo has been on YouTube for years. Gary’s is better but you can hear the BS era sound within Madonna’s version.

Hopefully the soon to released version is remastered and smartened up.

The vocals sound so weird! I think I’ll stick to the rough demo on YouTube over this poorly remastered one.

I never liked this song when Gary Barlow released it.

It's nice as a Madonna song, in a Not-Good-Enough-To-Be-An-Original-Bedtime-Stories-Album-Track kind of way.

Despite the fact that iTunes means very little these days, it's good to see her making #1 on it in the UK.
