Hello and welcome to a new game I thought I'd try out (with mod approval).

I thought it might be a bit of fun to go back to the year end charts from the UK and Australia from throughout the 00's and do a head to head battle with each position in the top 25 of the years chart. The aim is to vote for your favourite song of the two in each poll. I've chosen the top 25 as that means we won't finish with a tie, like we would with the top 20 or 10.

I'll aim to do 2 or 3 polls a week, but I'm just starting with one for now to test the waters.

Hopefully by the end of this game we can see whether our Buzzjack community preferred the UK's year end chart or Australia's.

***It's also worth noting that the same song can feature twice, but given it'll always most likely be going against a different song I don't see an issue with it.

I've decided to start the polls from #25, rather than #1.

Voted DC. Like the music to J Lo's but not crazy on the overall song itself!

Voted Destiny's Child, but it's wild that 'Let's Get Loud' wasn't released in the UK.

One of J-Lo's more underrated songs but DC wins this one.

Jennifer Lopez for me. It was a staple of parties for the end of primary school,parties.

It brings back at memories.

Jennifer Lopez, its one of the few songs from her that i really like.

I like a bit of 'Let's Get Loud' but it's very "entertainment in a Benidorm hotel bar"

I think I'd actually pick Let's Get Loud, it sounds like a Gloria Estefan classic so not surprising that she wrote it.

It was criminal to release Feelin' So Good over that in the UK.

DC - that really took them to another success level.
