Biff produced thr sangs. The Spice Gals wrote the lyrics. The article is misleading by calling him a song writer for Spice Girls

After my mum passed away in October 2023, I found Christmas 2023 & 2024 to be really hard. I kind of went through both of those Christmases in a daze, and I just couldn't make myself feel the way I used to feel about this time of year. It's still difficult, though my reason for mentioning this is that honestly, Kylie really gave me some joy this Christmas and I'm really grateful for that. I've been enjoying her new songs, watching all the promo, the chart battle was fun to experience, and we got to celebrate with two #1s! Which all in all I think will help me look back on this Christmas with fondness and good memories. Some may think that 'XMAS' isn't good and that's fair enough, but I really do love it for helping me feel festive again. Thanks to Kylie and also to my fellow Kylie fans for all the fun times this Christmas. heart

❤️❤️❤️

Merry X.M.A.S. Everyone! To my amazement my family were talking about Kylie being Christmas #1 and my niece loves the X.M.A.S. dance, so maybe this song has caught on more than I thought!

Happy XMAS!

I’m subjecting the family to XMAS and KC to get those last minute streams in 🤣

Wonder if we can reach 100 pages of discussion for XMAS before next year!

Really intrigued to see where XMAS lands in the chart today considering the lack of information we've had this week. Let's hope Christmas Day streaming all being accounted for, goes in Kylie's favour! (Remembering Spotify/Apple Music/possibly other services don't submit on time and OCC will have to estimate).

^^ Love the charts when we don’t get an update, literally have no idea where XMAS will land.

Alexa could have gone hysterical and pushed her back to #1 or the Christmas songs weighting is not downgraded as much for yesterday and could push her down to #4 or #5.

Really hope the album has maintained its healthy climb from the mids too.

Yep we’ve no idea plus this estimated Thursday issue could actually mean 1000s of lost sales for so many tracks and Christmas albums…surely the OCC must add the true sales to the ‘chart’ sales in due course once the correct data is verified?

No, the OCC never re-run any charts with the correct data.

No I mean do they retrospectively record the correct sales where there is a glaring difference between the estimate and actual sales. I know they don’t ever alter the chart.

I remember in about 2010 there was one they did re-run not long afterwards which altered some positions, and also there are several from the 90s they retroactively re-ran.

I meant in terms of the Thursday estimated data!

Anyway I’m sure the OCC regularly alter sales data as historically figures have been weighted differently.

They don't alter modern sales data, it's only sales from pre-1994 that seem to have been adjusted etc.

They don't! The sales they arrive at at the end of the chart week, goes towards the sales totals*, and they're not retroactively altered. They just completely disregard whatever the real Thursday data would have been.

Do you think thus will be Xmas last week top 100 or has it any chance of scrapping the bottom end of the top 100 next week.

Maybe from residual Boxing Day streams?
