I’m just happy that it’s getting any Spotify plays - it hasn’t been ‘announced’ that it’s been added to Spotify so it’s good it’s getting some organic streams this far before Christmas.

I don't know why everyone's worried about this. Amazon always pushes the previous Christmas song pretty well and the fact it was a number 1 single and Kylie they'll definitely give it good playlisting. So I think she'll easily make the top 15/20 this year.

Agree, I think she’s done now - she gave up an updated KC, I’m assuming they will focus on trying to make the album a Christmas staple rather than throwing out new Christmas themed music each year.

Yes I'd say the same and a hot in December push might help the album this year .

At this stage I don't EVER want another Christmas recording We've got more than enough now.

Ya I'm satisfied with it all and she should leave it there unless she managed another 1 off amazon christmas exclusive for that 9th number 1!!

Hopefully it will start to achieve over 10k a day by the weekend as the Christmas playlists start to be used en masse.

Well it just -almost- did that, as the next day it's on 212,312 streams, that's 9,848 streams in a day!

For comparison, 'Santa Baby' added 34k streams, 'Santa Claus...' gained 8.7k streams, while 'Hot in December' that had some playlisting last year gained around 1,750 streams.

I noticed Spotify have removed Hot In December from the “Christmas Pop” playlist, so she’s now not on any prominent Spotify editorial playlist.

Santa Baby always does pretty well despite playlisting, somehow. But it could be a rough year for her Spotify Christmas streams if there is no other adds this season.

Kylie does have 4 songs on this playlist though, which has 1 Million+ followers. XMAS, Santa Baby, This Time of Year and SCICTT all featured.

Good news re the Sunday numbers. Hope the other 3 Fully Wrapped originals pick up support. This Time of Year with 1870 Sunday streams just ahead of Hot in December.
