Great we have new versions. I thought we’d have the Capital Xmas chant at the start of the Extended but maybe we’re going to be given that on a remix instead ha ha. Give us what we want Team Kylie!

I think from previous years : Sam Ryder and Tom Grennan did around 40k sales from Amazon on Xmas number one week?

So I think Kylie needs around 20k pure sales to challenge for number one. That feels doable considering the campaign this week! Crossing all my fingers ❤️

Can somebody help me. I want to buy the Amazon downloads but how do I physically download them on my iphone. I do not have the Amazon app or subscribe to Amazon music?

So much easier to buy and download from the Kylie store.

You can do it via your browser on your phone. You do need an Amazon account doesn't have to be music. Go to the search bar and click digital downloads in the drop down box, then search Kylie Xmas or use the purchase links above, click on the three dots or the button above 'Purchase MP3' it'll then take the payment and will instantly bring up a download link click download, it will start downloading via your web browser then once that completes it'll pop up again saying download.

Yeah it does. I can see physical/downloads being more 10k. 15k with a big push maybe. I can’t see it managing 20k so would really need to get like 45k from streaming I think to do it but I dunno it’s all guesswork 😂🤷

I bought and downloaded both versions of the instrumental and extended mix (the song and the album for each). I hope they all count!❤️

ohhhh I didn't realise you could do that yeah they should all count

Makes sense everyone buys on Amazon this morning and then this afternoon stick them on Kylie.com and we can download again

So far I've only downloaded the Extended but I'll endeavour to do more downloads soon. Also received the CD & 7" a couple of days ago!

Midweek #1 yesterday was exciting to see. Hopefully today's midweek figures are encouraging!

I'm scared for the update today because you know that 7k lead will be absolutely destroyed she might not even be number 1 still...

I received my CD single on Sunday. Just downloaded the extended and instrumental versions on Amazon.

Streaming all the versions on Prime music and the video on YouTube!

Would be hopeful she’s still number 1 today even if a small lead but after today it’s definitely going to be a tough ask

It feels very quiet we've not even had an email mailout to say the download was out now etc...

It's great they're releasing new versions but the fan groups / forums etc can only do so much

The fact two new versions dropped this morning shows they’re paying huge attention imo

Kylie emails and social updates seem to come late afternoon / early evening - guessing they time them for when people are likely at home, finished work etc for maximum impact.

Yes if she really wants a Christmas number 1 they really need to be like Sam Ryder and don’t hold back with the extra versions and beg us to download.

Do think Bondi is so dreadful that they’ll wait to promote more tonight or tomorrow. Downloads are instant so they can go hard with it Tuesday to Thursday.

Also they have to balance between begging for purchases while maintaining Kylie as an artist - she’s not a newer artist like Sam Ryder etc., that can get away with doing insta lives begging people to download a 59p single 🤣

They know she has an active fanbase and her team are in touch with SH so they know the news will get out there.
