  • That probably contributed to 3 sales and the newly released liquid vinyl for the rest. Surely the OCC should/would know of a new variant counting towards the charts 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'd guarantee Golden and The Fate of Ophelia would be ahead of WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! with only one version anyway.

  • It makes me wonder if OCC aren't keen on explaining that a climb in the chart is simply because of a new variant, and thus they want to dress it up with "topical news" to make it seem more interesting

What was the last song to climb into the top 10 from outside the top 40 for its first week inside the top 40?

I remember Eliza Rose doing so in 2022, there may have been some since

2 HUNTR/X, EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, REI AMI & KPop Demon Hunters Cast - Golden

1 Taylor Swift - The Fate of Ophelia

I'd rather have Golden or WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! at no. 1 than Taylor.

I wonder if Taylor can actually reclaim it this week? I didn’t actually realize how far ahead she is on Spotify

Golden and Taylor need to get lost and give Raye a chance 😂😭

Official Charts Report

The tug of war continues! Taylor Swift and The Fate of Ophelia are on course to take back control of the Number 1 throne in this week's Official Chart First Look.

After two weeks in second spot behind HUNTR/X’s Grammy nominated Golden (2), the track is looking to secure a fourth week at the top.

Elsewhere, Sam Fender may find Rein Me In featuring Olivia Dean rebound back into the Top 10 and earn its highest entry since its peak in July (9).

Newcomer HAVEN. could see I RUN leap a remarkable 45 places following the tracks recent online fame (11).

Sienna Spiro and Die On This Hill is set to earn a new peak this week, jumping nine positions (15).

Brit sensation Skye Newman could find two of her tracks on the ascent in FU & UF (16) as well as Family Matters (30).

Is there any stopping EsDeeKid? The scouse alt-rapper may see his electric track Phantom featuring Rico Ace gain its highest position yet (21), while his newest offering Century could move up nine (31).

American singer-songwriter Kehlani is also tracking for a new peak with her single Folded (22).

Rap artist Digga D may earn his 14th Top 40 hit with DPMO (23). It could also be the highest new entry this week.

The Fred again.. release train keeps rolling on, and one of his latest singles Talk of the Town featuring Sammy Virji and Reggie could be the popular DJ, producer and songwriter’s tenth Top 40 (25).

Sonny Fodera’s link up with D.O.D and Poppy Baskcomb on Think About Us is set to rise 14 places into the Top 40 for the very first time (29).

Following its nomination for Record of the Year at the 2025 Grammy’s, Chappell Roan’s The Subway may see a huge resurgence, currently tracking to move up 20 places (33).

David Guetta’s pulsating track Gone Gone Gone featuring Teddy Swims and Tones And I may also make its Top 40 debut (34).

With the songs surprise announcement sparking euphoria among fans, Katy Perry’s bandaids is on course to enter the charts this week (36).

And finally, Spanish artist ROSALÍA may find Berghain with Björk and Yves Tumor pierce the Top 40, potentially pushing 13 places up the charts (38).

Surreal to see ROSALÍA top 40 in the midweeks but sadly don't envisage it staying there after the Spotify drop today aw

Variant wins again. Least unlike Golden + Taylor, Raye has held her position with one single version

I think its more battle of who has more variants, she released a new remix this week on top of the acoustic deluxe album

Im happy with any of the top 3 taking it tbf
