Why would we “be lying if we said Jade wasn’t bothered too”, when she has gone on record herself saying she was more about building her brand and favouring critical reception over chart performance for this era? I don’t think this matters nearly as much as people on forums like here thinks it does.

It’s stated so many times that unless you suddenly go viral or get good playlisting, the singles won’t really do anything anymore and that’s fine. She must be doing something right for the label to invest in the era further despite little chart impact.

She’s completed a sold out tour. Has a near sold out international tour around the corner. Critical success is insanely strong. Likely to be in talks for BRIT awards etc.. chart success matters less and less nowadays. That’s not excuses, that’s just the way things are now. If something blows up and manages to chart, great! Of course get that exposure etc..

Nope. If there is, it’s very little/the playlists that aren’t getting much exposure atm. Fingers crossed for it to get more key exposure.

Just looking at her singles history yes only 2 went top 40 but she was 7/7 top 100, 6/7 top 75, 4/7 top 44

I don’t think it’ll be a hit but regardless, it likely wouldn’t have had much effect right now anyway cause the charts is just Christmas. Expecting much more at this point is silly.

None of them will have much chart success without physicals realistically.

Just heard Church on Radio 1 and it sounded incredible.

Great to see it start the week in the charts, I don't think it'll hold on sadly.

Hopefully it can get in once the Christmas songs exit in January. Physicals then would be great, though unlikely.
