Shame RAYE couldn’t get the #1 but I expected this. Also uhh the pressings for her new vinyl are a bit of a mess, some of them have barely any smoke effect while others are purely smoke effect 🫣 Mine is basically just a pink version of the standard one (barely any smoke effect). Still.. Worth It. though 👀

So happy for Sienna to score a top 10 hit right before the same 20 Christmas songs as every year go into the Top 20. This was a good chart week.😉

Hmm. I guess that is true but the way she sings it puts all the emphasis on non-rhyming syllables ('see how I feel' sounds more like the start of the second line than the end of the first etc. with the emphasis being on 'again / that / call').

The closest thing to a rhyme in the verses is 'blessing / messy' as well, with the rest of the lines making absolutely no attempt at rhyming either. I suppose there are some proper rhymes in the bridge at least x (edit: there is 'write / fight' in the second verse as well)

Like I said I do like the song so I don't think it ruins it or anything, just being nitpicky as it seems weird for a pop song!
