February 26Feb 26 Author Refuge is so so good, 2 for 2 this era so far! Glad he’s back on form as sonder was quite a dip in quality vs his debut!
March 6Mar 6 Author Release date moved to 3rd April! I was expecting this to happen tbh, I hope he can secure another no1 now that he’s not up against raye as I am certain she’ll get to no1 with quite big sales on the week of 27th March
March 6Mar 6 I’m glad of the move! There were quite a few releases on the 27th where I think he’d have outsold them with ease but I’m expecting RAYE to have big sales so here’s hoping they both get a shot at #1 and he keeps his streak.
March 22Mar 22 It seems like nothing is going to take off this era - there doesn’t seem to even be any hype for the album.
March 22Mar 22 Author Shame… but I guess that’s what’s meant to be, his last album was a nightmare as it got delayed and pushed back until he got another radio hit in “kiss me” an he alienated a lot of his fans and he’s taken time to make music he wants not what the label wants! Clearly there’s demand if he’s selling out arenas or in Ireland’s case 2 stadiums at Dublin!
March 25Mar 25 Author I was at his acoustic show in London last night, so good! He’s got such a strong voice and the new ones he sang are brilliant, especially happiness and the title track, one of my most anticipated records of the year!! So grateful he moved it so I can focus on it fully as if it was out on Fri id be focussing on it plus the raye record!
April 2Apr 2 Author My cd came early so I’ve been listening today, very very solid record, much stronger than sonder. Will listen again with lossless audio on Apple Music when it’s out officially and drop a ranking but happiness and the weight of the woods are my current stand outs, as well as funeral from the singles
April 4Apr 4 My favourite album from him so far and I’d say the top male album of the year so far too. A really great listen. Turnstile was probably my top highlight but I really liked this and hope it can be another #1 album for him on our charts.

He’s so underrated in a sense but I love his voice and his way of emoting the lyrics in his music and I don’t normally like his style but maybe he’s my exception 😅
April 6Apr 6 He really has come up trumps with this album as it has so many good songs and very inline with the music he started out with.
April 7Apr 7 Listened to this today, not many songs really hit me compared to how obsessed I was with his last. Will give it a few more gos though I’m sure it’ll be a grower !

April 8Apr 8 Yeah not much hit me aside from 'Turnstile' and 'Funeral' which I already love. I'll give it another listen soon to see if anything else jumps out. It all sounds a bit samey tbh.
April 27Apr 27 Solid album from Dermot Kennedy, particularly liking Wasted and Trepidation out of the ones I hadn't heard before
