Posted Friday at 22:014 days Continuing on with the 25th best selling song of the year we have.Representing the UK year end charts: - Rui Da Silva ft Cassandra: Touch MeRepresenting the Australian year end charts: - Public Domain: Operation Blade (Bass In The Place)
Friday at 22:124 days Definitely Touch Me, and surprised to discover Operation Blade was a big hit in Australia. It didn't even make our year end top 40 in the year of release (2000) although it did chart over Christmas so no doubt sold more in 2001.

I was familiar with it when it started to do well over here as I use to see it on Hitlist UK with Cat Deeley or Edith Bowman.
Sunday at 21:572 days Both dance anthems of their subgenres but chose Rui da Silva. It kind of samples Spandau Ballet - Chant No 1 with the guitar bit.

22 hours ago22 hr “Operation Blade” is a banger but “Touch Me” is my favourite hit of the whole year. ❤️
17 hours ago17 hr "Touch Me" is one of the greatest #1's of all time - "Operation Blade" is not bad, but there are better versions of it, partcularly the original Pump Panel Remix of Confusion from the Blade movie. Also, "Blood Is Pumpin'" by Voodoo & Serano is a nother great version of it.
