  • And as ever we don’t necessarily even know what order they’re really in on Spotify because they might have different premium to free proportions.

  • All too often in this group we have focused too much on Spotify, and then being surprised that the songs doing best on Spotify aren’t always number 1. On Amazon it’s Golden followed by Man I Need. A

  • So that's basically resets confirmed for The Fate of Ophelia, WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! and So Easy (To Fall in Love), but not Man I Need or Golden, as expected.

Taylors battling for number 1 on billboard with golden as well dont rule out vinyls being brought forward if they want that

Not sure but I been getting more SNS tracks on Autoplay than MNB the last few days

Interesting that TLOAS would be top 40 without christmas hopefully it can hold steady for next week 🤞

Yeah they’ve been shipped! So definitely not Raye this week

PinkPantheress - "Stateside" at #84 too thanks to the Zara remix. Would love to see this get a new peak - that #41 peak hurts :(

'Stateside' is currently #46 without Christmas songs. It could just manage to scrape top 40 soon.

The strrsming data backs me up! No one is rudhing to play that middling sang. They play it maybe once when driving home and that's it, snd the data backs that up again

The data shows it peaked at no 53 in 1988 and peaked in the top 10 40 years later, sounds like a grower to me.

It’s not my fav Xmas song but it is lyrically genius and although sounds like it’s taken inspiration from the older crooner songs of before pop began it gives that warm feeling inside, everything you could want in an Xmas song!

Oh wow Sabrina 2 top 5 albums! Billie charting everything? What an exciting week for album chart while the singles remain stale with the resets

This update does seem a bit off? Century for one seems far too low. I’d have also expected Chanel to be a fair bit higher.

Not that I’m complaining but Ordinary seems much lower than expected too? Is it just all the ACR tracks going back to SCR that’s distorted things?

Nobody has mentioned that Tiffany is in!

Originally it was clearly denied a reset because a reset would not have pushed it into the top 40 (it was not significantly below Kate Bush in streaming).

It looks like it has finally been reset after all!?

So hoping that Tiffany will get into the top 40 – and I also have a feeling that she will get a lot of New Year’s Eve streams - though I don’t know if she is on any New Year’s Eve playlists.

And yes, it does look as though the OCC has done away with the one reset per artist rule.

Elizabeth Taylor hasn't been reset or did the title track surpass it even with reset

The huge number of Christmas songs is also distorting things - they will fade of course and the likes of “Ordinary” will likely climb.

The title track surpassed it almost 3 weeks ago.

yes but ‘Elizabeth Taylor’ must’ve free-fell after the holiday surge and isn’t recovering, which opened the gate fully for ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’

the same thing that happened to ‘Nobody’s Girl’ by Tate McRae

Ah sweet okay. So title track should stay then

yea ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ is here to stay until at least the last week of February now (if ‘Elizabeth Taylor’ continues to drop)

Had a feeling they would especially when saw billboard early predictions 😅 makes more sense for Rayes team to hold of dropping theirs for a week

Are we getting units this week? Or cause of the holidays just the positions will be?

They'd be posted if we had them so seems not, your guess is as good as mine!
