Quartz and Dina's 'Its Too Late' is a good chill out dance track with a unique use of chime sounds. Shaznay Lewis's song is good too in the list.

From 1986, this was the only solo top 10 hit for Debbie Harry. Ice In The Sun was an early song by Status Quo, their second hit single in 1968. Blue Eyes gave Elton John a revival in 1982 after his previous five singles had peaked from 33 to 44. His last top 10 hit had been 'Song For Guy' in 1978. The Veronicas still have one song to come.

Only I voted for the 2Unlimited track. It is one of their most meaningful songs lyrically.

Definitely the Veronicas other #8 track is way better than 'You Ruin Me'

'Notorious' has a good and memorable chorus.

Train Of Thought was the follow-up to A-ha's number 1, 'The Sun Always Shines On TV'. Their other number 8 is still to come. Also from the mid 80s, we have Alison Moyet's All Cried Out and Lionel Richie's US chart topper Say You Say Me which is best remembered for its sudden tempo change.

The most interesting bit of that A-ha song is that catchy panpipe riff. The song is good though.

Katy B's Broken Record is some good emotive breakbeat!

Milky - Just The Way You Are has had a bit of a recent streaming chart revival for some reason - they were talking about it a few days ago on here on the streaming chart thread!

So many good songs there! ‘All Cried Out’ is the first of mine to go - but at least somebody else voted for it. I’m surprised it has dropped out so soon, but I guess a lot of us say that about our favourite songs.

Donna Summer, who appeared on the 11 point list, had another hit with a Jon & Vangelis song called 'State Of Independence' and they are just ahead of her on 12 points with this one from 1980. Backstreet Boys have five singles which peaked at number 8 and Incomplete is the first of the three that received votes. The original Ain't Nobody is still to come but for the moment, we have a cover by The Course. Ariana Grande makes her second appearance of the day, she still has one song left. You Showed Me is the only top 10 hit by the Lightning Seeds that isn't a version of Three Lions.

The Course's cover of Ready Or Not is way better, the Ain't Nobody version synth sounds a bit jarring and out of key.

I like the calm Vangelis style - Hot Chocolate kind of copied Vangelis' style for It Started With A Kiss, I don't mind though as it was a good song.
