Whilst this is true Senegal should have been disqualified on the spot for that action. Why shouldn't every team do that now a penalty is awarded against them to disrupt the other team...

I hope Senegal win now.

They're certainly not the first team who have suggested that the tournament is being fixed in Morocco's favour during this tournament.

Morocco will recover well enough I think and will probably get 2nd place in their World Cup group. Diaz though will be having nightmares about this for the rest of his life, some people are saying that he missed on purpose but I don't think so. He was the one who hounded the referee to go to VAR in the first place. Speaking of the referee he had an absolute shocker in this match and was even smiling at one point during the penalty/walk-out chaos.

That final was absolute cinema. Much more thrilling than the 1-0 result had me thinking before I clicked the YouTube highlight package.
