Posted Monday at 21:233 days Can't believe this doesn't have a thread!I'm still reeling from this, what a phenomenal episode for both soaps
Monday at 21:323 days If my mum was well enough, she ABSOLUTELY would've watched this. Emmerdale is her favourite soap, but she hasn't watched Corrie in ages.
Monday at 21:463 days I thought the whole thing was kinda dull. The explosions looked nice, the biggest revelations were all ED related with Cain's diagnosis, Graham returning from the dead (like Clare Devine) and John suddenly being dead. Edited Monday at 22:043 days by ElectroBoy
Monday at 21:523 days Steve looking at Jai and tells Cassie that he looks like one of his old work colleagues as a nod to Chris Bisson’s Corrie character Vikram. I wish James Barton wasn’t killed off in Emmerdale so they could bring him into this and have him talking to Tracy for her to tell him that he looks like her ex Charlie
Monday at 22:592 days Even the crap actors, like the one who proposed, did a decent job, as the director directed them well.Eastenders needs to watch and learn
Monday at 23:182 days It was a good enough but it tried to conclude 2 many storylines from each soap and it felt a bit rushed and not doing justice to either.Billys death seemed totally pointless and I'm not sure what benefit it will bring to corrie.
Tuesday at 07:342 days I’m surprised so many thought this was successful/ good. I can’t see it do anything for either soap to gain new viewers.
Tuesday at 12:002 days I wish they’d brought back Adam Barton and Jason Grimshaw and have them come face to face to have the real life brothers on screen together Edited Tuesday at 12:342 days by Hadji
Tuesday at 13:072 days Hardly anyone died true ans I did disagree with them killin off Billie. They should use these to cull dead wood.
Tuesday at 16:112 days Steve "recognising" Jai was a brilliant call back to the actor's time in Corrie as Vikram
Tuesday at 18:042 days Sad to see Billy die. I liked him. He took Theo's bullying to the grave then...
Tuesday at 22:142 days It would have been funny if Dev was the one who recognised Jai and shouted Vikram only for Jai to say to him that you got the wrong guy
Yesterday at 02:111 day I've just started watching both again from New Year and I thought this was a perfect crossover. Plenty drama (with LOTS of questions raised ) and the recap at the beginning of their own respective episodes was very welcome (saves Joseph having to explain what's going on and who's who to me every night )
