First single from Simon Cowell's new boyband, out 30th January. Sounds good from the clip, though I'm still waiting to be won over on them as a unit.

I like the song, it's really fun and I'll get a good few plays out of it - can't resist a fun, catchy boyband track, and it's very early 1D which sonically is great to my ears. As a band, I'm struggl

Be interesting to see what kind of impact this has. It feels like Boybands/ Girlbands in general are a bit done with these days (with a couple of K-Pop exceptions)

It sounds better than I expected - will definitely check it out when it drops.

I thought they were being forced to change their name?

The band “December Tenth” said their threat of legal action was just a joke that they didn’t expect to get as much attention as it did.

They literally had less than 500 monthly listeners on Spotify, so I never expected it to come to anything.

It sounds a bit 1D but I really can't see this doing anything - the days of a newly created pop band getting instant success are long gone!

The post has been liked by Scouting For Girls. Their frontman Roy Stride has written for a few pop artists in the last decade or so (including One Direction), so I think this could be one of his songs.

Yeah its not bad... I'm intrigued to see how this does though - I feel its going to be a massive flop or a decent hit.

On first listen it was fine but didn’t quite live up to What Makes You Beautiful…?

Maybe it’ll grow but I can probably see this flopping 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yeah you just know this is an Up All Night reject lol

While they probably won't have any issue being semi-successful releasing the odd single/EP, I feel sorry for these boys who've probably ended up in a contract even more watertight than 1D's in what's clear as day Simon trying to take revenge and build a new 1D. I say this having still not seen The Next Act but it's so transparent. It's a decent enough bop, but not feeling any urge to support them or get invested at the moment.

This song, and honestly the overall package, isn't doing much of anything for me at all. I don't like or dislike the song, it's inoffensively straight down the middle - and very dated! Debuting with a close retread of One Direction's Up All Night era... this doesn't say much for them having a fresh or exciting identity of their own. What it does seem to suggest, more so, is that Simon thinks what worked back then, can work again. Maybe it will, we'll see.

This project comes across to me as Simon wanting to prove that he still has the midas touch, and grasping for relevance for himself. This front cover gave me such a huge ick...

I think this song is going to be a grower for me, I am still unsure on the band itself and tbh Simon Cowell being so heavily inserted into promo doesnt give me hope LOL

This is a huge BOP! I'm surprised by how much I've taken to it tbh.

I feel bad for the boys though. As much as I adore it, I kinda don't want to support it because of Simon.... it's really odd. I'll definitely get my plays out of it, but it doesn't feel right given how involved Simon is with it all. He's really left such a sour taste in my mouth with his past treatment of groups and artists.

I like them tbh. Hate the name of the group though.
