Did Sienna Spiro got to BRIT school? - they seem to teach them all to oversung like a naff version of Adele. They need new teachers.

Exactly. It keeps being spoken about as if it's some kind of L for Harry to have not held up, when he made a conscious decision to release a fairly commercially inaccessible track that's 5 minutes lon

In all seriousness a while back a 90 odd year old bloke got a shoutout on the chart show and said he'd been listening for decades - wonder if he's still listening and if he's still alive.

Wonder what he thinks of the music/current presentation!

Landing the U.K. underground hit “Palaces” just a few months after his 2024 debut, Merseyside rapper EsDeeKid makes his unique presence in the U.K. scene felt with glowering, weighty vocals and blown-out, bassy productions. Finding a blunt middle ground between jerk and trap, the rapper made his full-length debut with the thunderous 2025 mixtape Rebel. - Apple Music

No, Sienna didn't go to the Brit School - she attended Francis Holland School, Sloane Square and East London Arts & Music, before dropping out at 16 to pursue her music career full time.

Biography

A sensitive troubadour for the age of social media, Sombr places equal emphasis on sound and soul-baring lyrics. "Caroline," the viral hit that helped the singer/songwriter escalate from indie status to a major label while he was still in his teens, relied on cinematic vistas and rolling harmonies as much as his dramatic vocals. By the time he released the EP In Another Life in 2023, Sombr was collaborating with Tony Berg -- a producer known for his work with Phoebe Bridgers and Michael Penn -- and opening up his music in ways he continued to explore on the 2024 single "In Your Arms" and his 2025 Top 40 hit "Undressed." After landing another Top 40 hit with "Back to Friends," he made his full-length debut in 2025 with the breakup-themed I Barely Know Her. - Apple Music

Fair enough, she must just like trying to imitate someone who did.

Been seeing a LOT of sombr hate online, feels weird to me that he seemingly has more lovers than haters!

Not mad about '12 to 12' getting a bit of a Grammys boost!

Another connection to the Grammys with this song - of course Addison Rae, one of the best new artist nominees who performed "Fame is a Gun" at the ceremony, appears in the video for "12 to 12" as the female love interest..

Sienna to get a massive brits boost , sombr to fall again 🙏

Shakira's definitely not top 40, but I'll play Zoo in my TikTok live tonight. lol

Imagine the chart show being on Radio 2, could the listeners handle this (peak)?
