February 12Feb 12 I actually think those anniversaries aren’t even a good, because if you send someone who has already been here eight times or someone who was banned, other contestants might subconsciously boycott them since they don’t fit the style of the competition.Besides, what counts as an anniversary anymore? I reserved (and sent) Example four months before Watch The Sun Come Up was even released A lot of people were hoarding cheap/uninspired acts that others wanted to send (while others were understandably up in arms about this practice, but without a veto framework it was the Wild West so people took matters into their own hands to try and keep the contest from turning into the Radio 1 playlist). It was a very dramatic era to be a BJSC mod as you can see with a 39 page thread just to reserve artists. Some people even reserved artists in anticipation of a song leaking! (Jade Ewen's Punching Out was very highly anticipated pre-release).Looking through the thread it also seems to be the era that Silly Boy had leaked but people thought it was Rihanna.
