This series has been an interesting one thus far. Quite a lot of magicians (it feels anyway) but Rafferty is the one that stands out for me - it could all play out very differently at the live shows though.

It has been a while since a traditional stand-up did well on the show so it would be nice to see Ant & Dec's golden buzzer (Ted) gain some traction.

It was nice to see a comedy act get the golden buzzer. Comedy is a tough one on BGT because you're not really playing to a comedy audience, and you don't really know what's going to hit or not, but I

I enjoyed the comedian. None of the magicians this series have grabbed me though, I find them pretty boring most of the time now. Epic Sax Guy was a bit cheap though.

Shaping up to be an interesting final so far.

Did wonder if the rappers might have clinched it tonight but they might have a shot at the wildcard.

Wish the rappers or the dangerous couple at the end had got the final slot, I didn't enjoy this magician so much this time round (and honestly I'm kinda fed up of magicians on this show in general right now, there's too many), but I'm soooo glad the primary school is out - I'm glad some people find that joyful but there's no talent there and it would've been such an insult to many of the other skilled people in this heat.

Not really been following along but watched tonight how did the primary school get through in the first place their act is literally just them making a mess 😳

I do think at this point the whome thing needs reseting though its literally paint by numbers there really isnt much originality anymore is there

It's still one of ITV's biggest shows. I think an act being exciting/interesting is far more important than originality - I think it's unlikely they'll have something that's not been done in some form before.

I liked the rappers cos that wasn't done on BGT before. Within the context of the show it was original, I guess.

I agreed with KSI - I felt the rappers were a little bit sloppy. And they kinda lost their magic for me compared to their audition.

I think the right two went through - though I did also enjoy the axe / rifle throwing couple.

Ted is one of my favourite comedy acts to ever be on BGT. I don't know why KSI didn't hit the GB for him but I'm very glad he won the public vote.

Surprised Mizuki placed so low and Antigravity placed so highly.

Surprised it took so long for one of the judges to say what I've thought for so long about those acts - there's no human element.

Thoughts on who might win?

It's the most varied final lineup they've probably ever had.

I'd love Ted to win.

Sonny and the farmers being top 2 in the odds… how utterly grotesque frankie

Clarkson in the crowd was a nice touch. I like the farmers and they feel like something the country would get behind. Stellar promo for his new series starting next week though ha

A guy doing a Ted talk is talent these days apparently?

The dance act is good but boring.

Dog slays!

Magicians underperform.

And rich farmers try to make us feel sorry for them by singing terribly.

But sure this is talent!

Worst winner in BGT history. They didn't even sound good, playing on sympathy they do not need.

Yeah a rubbish winner but I am somewhat relieved it wasn't Sonny or Celestial (both felt way too calculated in terms of striking a chord with the audience the entire way through).

Favourites tonight were Rafferty (magicians are beginning to grate on me but he's very likeable and I prefer his kind of magic to Fabian's spectacle), Anastaciia & Salsa, Sadeck Berrabah & LMA (by FAR the best dance group this show's had in years) and Liwei Yang. Ted was funny again but I preferred his last two performances to tonight's one, and Matty sounded great as usual.

Interesting results. Some acts placed lower than I expected (particularly Matty and Ted).

I just had a feeling that the winner would be one of the eventual top 2. Not an act I've been passionate about but I can see why people plumped for them.

Unfortunately, BGT will keep airing until the day Simon Cowell dies. 😢

I used to be obsessed with this show, one of my favourites in this genre of all time. And, I had old Facebook statuses bringing up previous years of me being very enthusiastic about the results/outcomes.

But I didn't even know this final was on tonight and I honestly couldn't care less.

The weekly thing is just so disappointing. And I know, they are trying (and failing kink) to cover key slots, but the semi finals all happening in one week with the big climax of a final at the end of the week was just so much fun.

Bruno being added as a judge was a pretty big nail in the coffin for me too.
