Sorry to the Alex Warren haters - finally listened to the song, and I really enjoyed it. I quite like Bella Kay’s track as well but it’s not as immediate (at least one of her other tracks is more immediate on first listen).

You get told this every time. The likelyhood of artists performing a “new” song at an awards show that celebrates their success the previous year is (although not rare) unlikely.

They have Harry to perform something “fresh” and RAYE is a huge British star so could possibly perform ‘Nightingale Lane’ over WTHIMH, but everyone else will likely be performing their “hits” of last year (then again, even with Harry if he performed ‘Aperture’ you’d still probably moan that he should have done a “new” track)

I promise you that you would enjoy everything more if you actually just went with it and celebrated it with them. It’s not a chat show where they would be wasting a performance slot by prioritising an older song over a new one (Little Mix performing Break Up Song on Strictly over Sweet Melody for example)

Think if Sam does show up as a guest for Olivia's performance at the BRITs then 'Rein Me In' will be #1 again pretty comfortably. Otherwise I reckon it'll be close between him and Bella (or maybe 'So Easy (To Fall In Love)' if that is performed). Alex's debut still isn't screaming debut at #1 to me but he could probably get there in the next couple of weeks either way.

Nice to see Gorillaz charting a couple of tracks but still looking unlikely to get a new top 40 hit - at least they had the 'Feel Good Inc.' renaissance!

I don't like Alex's music much, BUT he's such a cute nice guy, unlike the other one you all comparing him to, so I don't mind him keep winning. Also, the song isn't bad at all.

 

Alex has 8 different 7inch vinyls, do we know when is he shipping them?

I think he'll perform Ordinary. Especially after how it went down at the grammys, did feel sorry for him there
