Official Charts Report

A dream come true? Alex Warren is heading for Number 1 on the UK’s Official Singles Chart with new track Fever Dream.

Alex’s first new material following the release of his chart-topping album You’ll Be Alright, Kid, Fever Dream is on course to be Alex’s second UK Number 1 single following the smash hit Ordinary, which spent 13 weeks on top in 2025. Ordinary is up four places to 15 following Alex’s performance of it at last night’s BRIT Awards.

Rein Me In by Sam Fender & Olivia Dean drops one place to Number 2, but is still a huge contender to retain the top spot after it was named Song of the Year at Saturday’s BRITs. Expect track uplifts for the ceremony’s winners and performers as more chart data is reported across the week.

Bella Kay’s rapid rise with iloveitiloveitiloveit continues, lifting one spot to Number 3.

Fresh from the release of his new album The Romantic, Bruno Mars’ I Just Might is up three to 5, in what would be a return to its peak position. New single from the record Risk It All is a midweek new entry at 13.

The best-selling single of the week so far belongs to Raye; Nightingale Lane. is tracking towards a Number 12 debut, and would mark her landmark 20th UK Top 40 single. The track received a 7” inch vinyl release which further boosts its profile so far this week.

Finally, just outside the Top 20, Blackpink start out at Number 26 with Go, the second single taken from their new EP Deadline. Go was written by all four members alongside Coldplay’s Chris Martin, and produced by Cirkut.

Looking at Spotify and Apple, it could be anyone out of Alex Warren, Bella Kay or Sam Fender!

Of course, who knows what will happen after the Brits?

Are Ordinary or Man I Need any chance of getting a reset?

I don’t feel it’s possible to say until after we see the impact of the Brits.

The Sam/Olivia vinyl won’t be in the first mids either so could be interesting - it states it will be shipped ‘On or before March 5th’

Is there a point to resetting Ordinary? Man I Need would understand since its been number 1 on streaming for a while and has missed offical number 1 because of acr only

Olivia sweeping to noones suprise will definitely give her a boost but will it be enough

Alex actually getting zero was a welcome suprise but ordinary was performed even if it wasn't spectacular so cant rule it out

He only had a chance at winning intl song and the public actually had taste for once

And Olivia Dean has robbed herself of a number 1 single like Dua Lipa did in 2018 🤣

Just don't get all the continual Alex hate on this platform. He was by far the best vocal performance of the night

I just find Alex Warren music extremely boring and think he has terrible replayability
