I'm not expecting a Fiona Apple opus anytime soon, but every project feels like a step closer to a fully realised artist where making hits isn't really the point anymore. Robert Smith on your third album? Where is she going to be in a decade?

My only gripe is 'begged' and 'less' almost back to back, both feel like Olivia ballad retreads when a lot of the album has moved beyond that

I still feel the same about those two ballads (not you Honeybee, you're special x), but my love for every other song has only intensified since. I don't think we're going to get a better pop album this year 🖤

It’s fascinating watching both Olivia and Billie really nail their third albums in an almost generational, peerless way. Random thoughts: I remember a Sophie Ellis-Bextor interview where she discussed the importance of the third album, and now I can't stop thinking about artists that got it right (or wrong) with theirs.

I love Less but find Honeysuckle and Begged a snooze.

truly never felt more excited to share a piece of news with you all. i’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and i am so ecstatic its finally coming true!! Daisy Chain Fields features an all-women lineup and 100 percent of the net proceeds will go to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls. the lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends. i firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that. I absolutely cannot wait to scream and dance and sing with you guys August 29th!!!!

I listened to this the week it came out but forgot to comment, really enjoyed it!

'Expectations' is by far the highlight, also 'My Way' and 'Maggots For Brains' are great. 'Honeybee' might be my favourite ballad from her so far.
