I'm arriving on page 39 of this thread to say that this album is MARVELLOUS. I don't consider myself a Madonna fan as such - I enjoy a lot of her singles, but have never really actively sought out her music. This album is an excellent listen and I'm finding it really addictive and sounds great in the sunshine.

Shame it couldn’t hold Top 40 but sales are so close the further down the charts you go and there’s that many greatest hits to contend with.

Just put out new variants people will lap them up, and hopefully a deluxe at some point.

Three weeks in top 40 is the same than Madame X did, that is pretty disappointing, especially considering how good chart runs javier78 has posted from other countries. Rebel Heart got whopping 8 weeks in top 40.

Where is the link to this weeks chart? It’s still showing last weeks when I go on the OCC site.

I do think it might get some more weeks top 75 and perhaps get a boost at some point if there’s any significant UK promo or a new edition released but I’ll take #42 after 3 weeks top 20! It’s still easily her most well respected album for years and it’s been a major moment for her.

I think more than being an indicator of its popularity it’s more a sign of how different the album market is compared to 2015. Still, I agree it is a little sad to see it nosedive this week.

^ Music Week has the Top 75 chart positions and it shows Madonna is #42.

Tyla at #43 did 3,270 so I guess it's just above that.

I do wish they were doing more to keep the momentum going, I don’t think it has long left in the top 100 at this rate (Tension, the closest comparison I think, went 1-8-36-83-OUT). #43 sold 3,270 so about 3.3k added this week, so the album is on about 64.7k in total.
