This is an instant win for including “One In A Million”. Such a banger of a tune!!

Had to replace this image due to a typo error, but thanks! And yes, it surely is despite doing meh in the charts back then. Also love "Me and My Guitar".

Ooooh! I was right with the artwork.

So many great songs and some forgotten gems as well.

Starting off with Lee Ryan is wild, but I love it. Sings, I Bruise Easily, Next Best Superstar, and In the Morning are classics on disc 1. And I totally forgot about Ben Adam’s solo track, that’s gonna be fun re-listening to.

Disc 2 is probably my favourite though. So many mp3 jams! Girl, 1, 2 Step, One Word, Lose Control, Owner Of A Lonely Heart, Poison, Why, Heavy on My Heart, and He Wasn’t all remind me of the music channels we had on Sky.

1 fave from each Disc:

Disc 1: Next Best Superstar (justice for Mel C’s independent solo releases)

Disc 2: One Word (great glitchy moody pop moment. Great sample. Great video concept. Just all around great)

The only thing missing for me is “Long Hot Summer” by Girls Aloud. But maybe that was released after NOW 61’s date. Either way it’s another banger of an album!

You were right, and the first to guess what it could have been as well! Picking the first track was harder for this volume than Now 20-Now 59, there was no majorly big omissions on the original Now 61. I think my soft spot for Lee Ryan may have made me biased🤣

I’m surprised at how well my versions of Now 60 and Now 61 have turned out, I was expecting them to be way weaker.

Thank you once again @SuperWooper for taking the time to review my albums again😁

All posts moved over to this thread now @nowmusic1993 so all your fabulous creations are in one place and I'm hoping we can work together to create a colourful index to easily locate these incredible masterpieces together with their respective Spotify playlists!

Thank you so much for all your hard work and contributions, they are truly appreciated by many of us on BuzzJack!

Same goes to you @Harrison FB I am looking forward very much to more Dance collections!

I have just spent an hour or two compiling a load of 2010s songs that didn't quite make my Alternative Now volumes 75 - 104 either because I couldn't quite fit them in and/or the artist had a better song out in that Now 'era', or I didn't realise how good it was when I complied the originals.

It's split into five discs with a big old bomb blast sound effect between each 'CD' and may be subject to change if new ideas come into my head over coming months/years/decades.

But for now, here is 'ALTERNATIVE NOW 2010s'.
