April 23Apr 23 It’s between Ray of Light and Music for me. Her creative peak was during the 1998-2005 album run for me personally.Like A Prayer is my second favourite album of hers after ROL but it’s tricky seeing how those can be followed up but I feel like the Music era could actually work as the original was futuristic and fresh even by today’s standards. A ROL a follow up if it was anything like the OG would be a dream but that era was her vocal peak and I don’t know how her voice would fare on an album with instrumentals like that in 2026 or in future (but you never know!). April 23Apr 23 None! Harder Candy would put me in an early grave My dream was always for Madonna to work with Mirwais again... but then we got Madame X. I appreciated the vision but not the execution. I just don't think it's possible to recapture the kind of magic she had during her peak, so would prefer to see her experiment with new and different producers. Confessions II might hopefully surprise me (Stuart Price is more versatile than someone like William Orbit) but I'm cautiousSaying all of this, I would absolutely gobble up Rae of Light with the two girls who produced Addison

Much as my heart wants to say a sequel to Ray Of Light, it'd kill me if it ended up being a mess.I think I'm happy enough not having a part 2 of anything else, and as long as she doesn't try to chase trends that are current (or two years old by the time the album comes around)
