Apologies if this has been covered but when was the last the singles chart top 40 contained both a Madonna track and Michael Jackson track?!

Looks like it was week ending 13th May 2006 - exactly 20 years ago! Madonna with Sorry and Michael with Remember The Time

I think 2006, when Madonna charted with "Sorry" and MJ charted with "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough". Could be wrong, though.

Bieber and MJ were reset because of Coachella and the MJ film

The one that got away has been climbing since she releases a directors cut featuring Stevie nicks 2 weeks ago

I think it’s been going viral (for whatever reason) for a little while now, hence why she then released that directors cut, to capitalise on it.

No idea why Natasha’s back though!

An controversial Top 2 in the album charts with the nonce at #1 and an controversial band at #2.

Sam Fender and Olivia Dean have had better songs which would have had an stellar run at #1.

Thanks for the responses to my query! I was thinking it was along those lines I had a look at the week celebration was in the charts but Man in the mirror was in the lower top 100 by then! The king and queen together again!

Loving the BBC Sounds label for Beat It - "Beat It (OCS Ver.) PLS COMPLY" ??? 😆

DBE only reached number 91. It’s over for that group now.

They've had a fair few singles in the last few years that didn't chart at all. Their career trajectory is a bit odd - they were such a consistent chart presence for years leading up to the moment of getting a #1 album, and then almost immediately dropped off into near total irrelevance after that (they've not had a top 40 hit since 'Eagle' charted alongside the release of the #1 album). Not complaining of course x

The new one is not even a D-Block Europe track. It’s a solo Young Adz track and they’ve credited it as D-Block Europe presumedly for extra exposure.

Rein Me In becoming this years Ordinary and as for people preferring streaming over physical, wait till your favourite songs, films or TV series get removed from there then say you love streaming. At least I can still watch the Michael Jackson episode of Simpsons thanks to physical media. Physical is for life. Streaming isn’t

And I’ll wear that badge with pride. I been enjoying my physical media, watching films, TV shows and listening to music all with no interruptions. I even watched the Simpsons episode Stark Raving Dad last night thanks to physical media. As I was watching it, I felt sorry for the people who don’t own physical media therefore are unable to watch it

If you got a computer, you can always back them up onto there if worst case the CD/DVD scratches. There’s programs you can download where you can rip your DVDs onto your computer
