Beyond excited for this. Eclipse is such a great song too!

16 tracks as well so it’s a decent length album which is great!

Oooooh that will be good

Is Gooddelta still recovering from the shock?

I am. It's been a long wait...

Very excited, intrigued to know what direction she has gone, I'm assuming the two 80s sounding singles and that general vibe from 2023/4 have been discarded and won't be on here.

Good news is it looks like her independent ATLED label has a distribution partnership with Universal for this album (unexpected after she spent most of her career with Sony). This should hopefully mean the album gets a proper UK release and we don't have to import it.

Her longest ever gap between albums at 5 and a half years! I wouldn't have anticipated that back in 2023.

At the moment I’d say the singles from 2023/4 won’t be included. Eclipse is the only song title showing up on Apple Music, though I know that can always change.

It is a surprise she’s left Sony completely, she was with them for what 20+ years? Hopefully it means all her UK and European fans see it released over there for them. Which I think it will, just going off her performing at Eurovision and having performed in Europe since 2021.

Personally I would love them to be included but sonically they're quite different to 'Eclipse' so I think you're right.

Perhaps they could be tacked on down as streaming only bonus tracks.

Great! Not fan of Eclipse, but i always like 3/4 songs from each albums. i wish Hearts on the run will be added.

Maybe although traditionally I think she tends to leave her 'experimental' one-offs off the albums (thinking of Heart Hypnotic and Think About You). I'm sure she must have so much canned music out there in the styles of those two songs and Back To Your Heart/Hearts On The Run that we'll never hear.

You’re right, I didn’t think of that. I’d have loved a full album of Back To Your Heart and Hearts On The Run style songs. I really enjoyed them.

She has an unreleased album which would’ve been recorded around 2000-01 but that’ll never see the light of day I’m guessing.

I remember hearing about it in 2004 and if I remember correctly Sony blocked it from being released when another label tried to capitalise on Delta at her peak.

I liked them both too, although they also were quite cheeky, sounding like The Best and Boys Of Summer respectively. Delta even sometimes mashes Back To Your Heart up with The Best when she performs it so the comparison isn't lost on her at least!

Oh yeah, the album with Love on it I suppose, and maybe the early original version of A Year Ago Today. I definitely can't see that ever emerging although apparently a few copies exist physically out there somewhere.

Its a pitty she doesnt have the album ready now as i think releasing straight on the back of Eurovision would help her due to her raised profile especially in the UK and Australia where she might chart.

I think it’s certainly help in the UK. All of her albums have gone to #1 or #2 in Australia so I think she’ll do ok in Australia regardless. Hopefully she goes back to the UK closer to release for promo.

Yes. I'd love to see her chart again in UK, with a bit of luck Eclipse will and then her album later in the year.

We have some UK dates too :)

She has quite a few unreleased albums now - there's the one after Mistaken Identity before Delta (I think it was called Light and Life), there was the one during Child of the Universe, there was one before Bridge of Troubles Dreams with Think Bout You on it... 2018.

Yeah it would have made a bit more sense to be released closer to Eurovision but I doubt she’s that’s bothered about UK position
