A weird one here, and maybe it would already be a thing if it was possible...

But something's just come to my brain because we currently have active threads for 'Beg For Me [Remix]' in both the and Little Mix forums.

Is there any way that a thread can be created in one forum, but also appear in other relevant forums so that noone misses out on the conversation?

For example:

• There is a thread for 'Beg For Me' started in the Pop Forum

• The creator (or a mod) links this thread to the Little Mix forum, due to Jade featuring on the song, so that users looking in that area of the forum also have visibility of the discussion on the same topic

I was just thinking that it might drive activity with these sort of threads due to seeing a wider selection on member's opinions! Also it might increase activity in artist forum release threads, as I imagine lots of these threads aren't seen by everyone that friends the genre forums.

I suspect it's not possible, because you can only work within the confines of the forum software... I just think it could be a cool feature, if it is possible!

On the flipside, it might drive traffic away from artist forums (impacting things like artist rates, general discussion etc), so it might not even be a popular idea... Anyway, I'm rambling now... Just a thought x 🤣

When we move/merge topics I wonder if we can still "Leave a link in the forum" so that it redirects them to the chosen forum and leave the link active for a few months? Or does it only leave the link for a limited time?

Limited time I'm afraid! Also doesn't reflect any new posts made after the move so it'd just drop off the page.

Yeah for what it’s worth (#late), I think it’s a thread I would’ve had in the Little Mix AF instead of Pop, regardless of it being Lily’s song as the main artist. A limited-time link to the thread from Pop wouldn’t be much of an issue either given there’s plenty discussion happening in both for people to want to visit the AF and discuss it.
