June 4Jun 4 Nice to have the two Z's in one group, but someone has to take Egypt. A pity that Scotland 2 did not get Scotland 1.

June 4Jun 4 Oooo interesting. Not exactly the biggest country (musically anyway) so I’m imagining choices may be limited, but let’s see!
June 4Jun 4 Colombia sure has a lot of death metal, melodic death metal, brutal death metal, black metal, atmospheric black metal, speed metal, thrash metal, powerviolence, screamo and post-hardcore.I've found several interesting songs in other genres though. Sorry brutal death metal lovers.

June 5Jun 5 I've entered something suitably obscure for Sweden that it's unlikely anyone will already know.
June 5Jun 5 Well I've submitted something. It's definitely not your typical Juranabaijan entry, but I think it fits the brief and it's a pretty decent song (despite not being a genre I would typically gravitate towards)!I believe the primary artist is still based in Haiti (though information seems fairly thin), and sound is very much in line with what you might expect music from a Caribbean nation! I hope I've chosen well. 😊
June 5Jun 5 I've already looked through so much music that I went ahead and confirmed before I overwhelm myself 😁 I don't think it'll win or anything but I'm hoping it can do quite well, not really sure. The band is described in one place as having a 'distinctive fusion of rock and alternative rock', whatever that means lmao.
