Thursday at 00:353 days South Africa Vs South Korea is definitely the match to watch in this group as that is the one with the most jeopardy and has the feel of a knockout stage match already.
Thursday at 00:433 days Re staying up late: I've done that for most of the games but there have been some games that I've physically not been able to stay awake for like Ghana Vs Panama, I dosed off for large parts of that and only woke up just before the stoppage time winner haha. I missed Colombia's first match for this same reason and missed their match against Congo due to having to get up very early. In fact Portugal Vs Uzbekistan is the only match I've seen from group K so far. I missed Portugal Vs Congo because of work and having to carry out some errands. I've missed both of Jordan's matches so far as well but will definitely tune in to their farewell match against Argentina on the weekend.
Thursday at 02:463 days Just 5 minutes left for South Africa to defend and secure their first knockouts. Edited Thursday at 02:473 days by CowTzy was here
Thursday at 02:583 days How have South Africa managed that? They were rubbish in the opening game and looked clueless against Czech Republic. It means the first Last 32 game is confirmed: South Africa v Canada on Sunday. The Czechs waiting until they were 2-0 down to sub on their two best players was ridiculous.Bad news for Scotland because they were definitely thinking this was one of the groups where there was a big chance for the third placed team to be worse than them.

That is nuts, even in the old format of only the top 2 in each group going through they still would have made it. Truly unbelievable turnaround to be bottom at the start of the last round of group matches and end up 2nd.
Thursday at 03:323 days South Korea themselves are lucky that there's a possible route for them via 3rd place otherwise this would be one of the biggest group stage bottle jobs of all time.
Thursday at 04:123 days I missed these games as I had appointments all morning but South Africa winning seems like a shock. Great that they'll progress though.
